All BYOB, can't wait to go back and try dinner. The French press coffee is worth the brewing time wait and a perfect finish to the meal!! Some entrees on the small side (goat cheese tartine) Always a lovely experience. We confirmed 3 times to receive separate checks and were told it was OK. Waitress had a very hard time doing this and had to call the manager in to do it correctly. I should think that a rest. that caters to ladies that lunch would be able to handle this with ease. Everything about our dining experience was magical right down to the perfect weather enabling us to dine outside under the stars and white lights. Our food was wonderful; interestingly prepared and beautifully served. We loved the hot bread and pepper butter served in a terra-cotta pot. And, we appreciated being able to bring our own wine. While we knew we were right on Baltimore Pike, once inside the grounds, we felt like we were a million miles away at a vacation destination. Make sure you go early to enjoy the shopping experience at Terrain! However, this time the amount of Trout served was a joke. I can't imagine what a man would have thought. The food was delicious but I received 2 very small and thin pieces of trout. It was very thin as well, not much thicker than the skin. My friend ordered the same but well done. I think mine was more well done. The ramps should have been cut they were hard to cut or bite but tasty. The apple cobbler was a liitle too sweet. The cinnamon bourbon bread pudding was delicious! Our dinner last night was awesome. The ambiance is for sure one of the most amazing places to dine in...hands down! The Chef's Tasting, as recommended by our attentive and very professional waiter (Chris), was very, very creative and satisfying. If you want a night out that will literally let you "drift away" and escape reality for a brief moment in time...this is def the spot. The very attentive waitstaff was an added bonus, as we enjoyed the multiple personalities that touched our table throughout the evening. As for value, at $50/pp for the Chef's Tasting, you can't go wrong. High quality ingredients. Last evenings birthday dinner was fantastic from the first sip of our BYOB Pinot Gris, through our amazingly creative Artisans Cheese Plate to our amazing Bourbon Bread Pudding and Crisp Apple Cobbler at the end. Our dinner entrees were fresh Bass over potatoes and romesco for my partner and Sirloin with roasted brussels sprouts and a demi glace for me.
