Loved every second of it- beautiful scenery, very peaceful. The service was friendly but not overly fussy. Shared a delicious French press coffee and a cheese plate with the Mr. And both were divine. Had pan seared scallops which were delicious, and a portabella sandwich which was good- the bread there is amazingly fresh, and we loved the attention to detail (succulents on each table, mason jar glasses and bread served in a terra cotta planter) . I love the greenhouse feel and how the servers are very professional but have the laid back look. The food is amazing! It's very organic and if you will, "granola" and I love that! We had reservations for noon, and were seated in Greenhouse immediately upon arrival. The service was friendly, efficient, and prompt. The ambiance was relaxed with a feel of "rustic chic,' and we found ourselves gazing at lovely details in our surroundings. The bread in the terra cotta flower pot served with whipped herb butter was a unique and delicious feature, almost in itself worth a trip back. We had Grilled Portabella Sandwich, Camembert Tartine, and Organic Omelette, and all were delicious, with beautiful presentation. The wait staff is attentive, pleasant, and eager to please. We ordered the Chef's tasting menu, in which the Chef prepared different plates for each course and person in our party. I highly recommend the Chef's tasting menu to experience a wide variety of dishes from Styer's fresh and tasty menu. Sharing plates will make the experience interactive and more delicious! The mushroom soup with truffle oil and duck entree were some of our favorites! However, this time the amount of Trout served was a joke. I can't imagine what a man would have thought. The food was delicious but I received 2 very small and thin pieces of trout. It was very thin as well, not much thicker than the skin. My friend ordered the same but well done. I think mine was more well done. The ramps should have been cut they were hard to cut or bite but tasty. The apple cobbler was a liitle too sweet. The cinnamon bourbon bread pudding was delicious! Our dinner last night was awesome. The ambiance is for sure one of the most amazing places to dine in...hands down! The Chef's Tasting, as recommended by our attentive and very professional waiter (Chris), was very, very creative and satisfying. If you want a night out that will literally let you "drift away" and escape reality for a brief moment in time...this is def the spot. The very attentive waitstaff was an added bonus, as we enjoyed the multiple personalities that touched our table throughout the evening. As for value, at $50/pp for the Chef's Tasting, you can't go wrong. High quality ingredients.
