Then try out Stripsteak by Michael Mina....he is a true celebrity chef as he cares more about his food and restaurants then about being all over TV. This restaurant is CONSISTENTLY fantastic. Great entrees, sides, starters, and desserts. This is the place that you are wowed, by the Duck fat fries that come out shortly after you sit down and the wows continue all the way through the last bite of dessert. It's without a doubt the best steakhouse in Vegas!! Tried to give them a weekend they would remember and they can't stop talking about the resturant. We all had the strip steak with several sides. Best steak I ever had by far. Although the food is very good, it's overpriced. The side dishes are expensive for their size/preparation. $14 for a small bowl of spinach seems unreasonable. The fries served at the beginning of the meal are good but they were warm, not hot and yummy. The steak was all you would expect, but I am not sure it is worth the $50 price per steak. Would I go again? Not if I had to pay for it. If it were comped, possibly, but there are other great restaurants nearby. Visually, it is very appealing, though! Our server seemed to be new. We had to ask about the steak sauces, he was unsure of special pricing. Had to ask for beverage refills. I was expecting a 4 star experience but our server was the man- my experience warrants 5 stars. Stripsteak boasts the best scotch selection in any steakhouse and our server paired our steaks perfectly. It wasn't the busiest night there and perhaps that was a positive thing.

I did research to find one of the best steakhouses and I am very pleased with our choice. The food was outstanding! Portions were filling! The wine list is a little pricey because they have HALF bottles starting at $50. That's a little much a glass and a half for each person. But if you're a wine-O you'll be in your glory! My ribeye was so amazingly tender and juicy. The potato gratin was great but too rich to eat more than a few bites. Pretty decent cocktails, my cherry drink was just right, good for supping. The shaved apple salad was a great light starter. Not too sweet, definitely prepared my palate. The best part of this place is the complementary fries with truffle Aoli. OUT. OF. THIS. WORLD. Total including tip was 130 for a drink, appetizer, rib eye, and side. Too full to even think of dessert. Decor is very chic, trendy. I wish they would enforce the dress code more stringently, however. Wide range of dress made me uncomfortable with too many casual diners.
