A word from Stripsteak – Fontainebleau Miami
Miami's sizzling hot new steakhouse: Stripsteak by Michael Mina is slated to open November 2014 at Fontainebleau Miami Beach.

The two-story, indoor-outdoor venue will be sexy, fun, elegant and engaging. Located off the historic chateau lobby in the heart of the hotel, Stripsteak will very much be a steakhouse for today’s adventurous diner – offering a la carte cuts of steak (many of them from the hotel’s on-site aging room and butcher shop) as well as signature specials that go far beyond traditional steakhouse fare. No steakhouse experience would be complete without a killer raw bar; Stripsteak's will include selections sourced locally through BleauFish – the hotels innovative ocean-to-table live catch program.

Way to cold at our place in the middle (downstairs); there was a big draft from the airCon. Great food (steak of the day) Prices are very high! Spend more than 400$ for 2 with the cheapest wine on the wine list...

we had reservations at 11 or 11:30 and it was quite the scene - very active at that time of the evening. Definitely a tad on the trendy/pretentious side but overall a good meal and nice time.

I love coming to this place. I have never had a bad meal here. The service is always outstanding. Located in one of the best hotels in Miami Beach, after dinner you can walk about 20 steps and enjoy another drink at the center bar inside The Fountainbleu.

My husband and I ate there twice during our stay at the Fontainebleau. Miami Spice (similar to Houston Restaurant Week) was going on at the time, so we got to try a few of their offerings and were very impressed. We were treated to excellent food and service and Mathias took such good care of us, we requested him again. My husband said the filet mignon was possibly the best he had ever eaten in his life. Mango custard is amazing for dessert. The rest of the staff was also very attentive. Next time we return to Miami, we will certainly return.

Afterwards, you can take a stroll along the Fontainbleau hotel and the beach. We went early about 6 pm so it was quiet in the restaurant but energetic/noisy outside at the Fontainbleau pools with a party going on. The party did not interfere with the dining experience.

This place is great! Very cool atmosphere located in the Fountainebleau, we ordered off of the 54 menu which is their prix fixe menu celebrating the Fountainebleau's start date in 1954. The drink menu is on an ipad and the regular menu is handed to you the old fashioned way. My friend and I ordered two french onion soups, the strip steak, and a creme brulee and chocolate cake with ice cream. Food was awesome. Didn't care for the chocolate cake but that was a matter of preference and had nothing to do with quality. The service was also exceptional. Oh, it's also important to note that they bring out this very tasty bread when you are first seated that looks like a muffin but it is outrageous. Definitely worth it!

We are regulars here, but maybe not anymore. For our recent reservation, we received a confirmation call from the restaurant...which is a good time to inform customers about potential negatives. No such mention. When we arrived, there was such huge noise from a party with boom box type speakers at the pool area that it was unbearable and we left after ordering water and tea. Of course they gave us a bill anyway...classy restaurants wouldn't do so when the reason to leave was so obvious. And to add insult to injury...they then cancelled our OpenTable booking, even though we did arrive and did actually pay for something. The result is that they took away our OpenTable booking benefits. Cheap, unsophisticated management behavior.

Best part was after only being there one time we walked in late a couple of day later and we were remembered

The typical Miami hotel restaurant that tries too hard to create a cozy atmosphere. Random crowd, average service, okay steak but way overpriced. I had a feeling when booking there but wanted to give it a try for a romantic dinner. Well, had an incomparably better experience the next day at the Delano.

Over all not very impressive. The fish was over cooked the steak was undercooked. I would think for a steak resturant at least they would get the steak right. Way over priced for the lack of service and small portions. If the food was at least cooked right it would have been better. I would not recommend this restaurant at all. Very unimpressed.

Watch out for this one, it has an ever inviting atmosphere, but is over priced for the quality of food prepared on this night. Service was great, only you never saw the same server more than twice. Location is one of the best, right in the middle of pretty much everything, short walk to the beach, the pool side view is lovely and getting to the restaurant is very easy. I really only have two complaints, the price and the quality of my steak. I know it is Miami so price will be high, but please don"t have the word steak in your restaurant name if you are going to be hit or miss with the quality of your meat.
