Stripers - KennebunkportA Nice Meal in KennebunkportStipers is conveniently located near the Kennebunkport town center on the scenic Ocean Ave. The bar and dining rooms are beautiful, overlooking the water that separates the Kennebunks. The bartender was nice, attentive, and talkative. At dinner, my waiter seemed new to the job and as such was nervous/perhaps overly attentive. The food was very good. Nice wine list. I had small plates for dinner: grilled asparagus w/fried egg and maine crab cakes. The asparagus was succulent and delicious. The egg was a little runny, but overall a good dish. The crab cakes had a spicy sauce--a nice touch. My companion had the salmon served with a black bean and corn succotash...perfectly seasoned and cooked...delightful.
