"I hadn't been to the Strip house in close to 6-7 years and decided to go back for dinner. I'm happy to say that the food was still excellent, and the service was outstanding. The restaurant was full, but not overly crowded. It was my husband's first dining experience at the Strip House and it is now on his favorites list."

"It's rare to have a quality restaurant attached to a hotel, but this is the exception. Classic American steakhouse with a good variety of quality seafood and other non-beef lover alternatives. Service was attentive and professional. Worth going out of your way to enjoy."

"It was kinda of dark and these old eyes at 44 had trouble reading the menu. We would have appreciated that the waiter would have been more attentive. The food was excellent. Portions are huge, plate sharing should be encouraged, ask for doggie bag for my entree. For us two people three courses and no alcohol was $175 dollars including tip."

"Typical steak house fare - steak, lobster, creamed spinach, fries, salads. The food was very good and the portions were huge at a steakhouse-steep price. The service was only fair due to the waiter forgetting to bring a cocktail we ordered, which we eventually cancelled, a missing sauce ordered with one of the entrees, and the chocolate cake toppling onto the table as the waiter cut to serve it. At those prices the service should be spotless. The vibe was steakhouse for the over-60 set."

"Went before a Devils game in Newark and needed to eat and run. Staff was terrific, friendly and understanding of time constraints. Service great, food excellent, would go there again on my to Newark for an event."

"On a scale of 1 - 10 with 10 being the highest, here is how I rate everything

1. Reservation was at 8:15, didn't get seated till 9:00 - (2). We were given an excuse they couldn't find us...hardly likely since the bar area and the Reservation table are in a pretty tight space

2. Oysters Rockefeller - 5 - Average nothing, special
3. Crab Cake - 7 - Really fresh, nice cruch on the outside and great tasting crab meat
4. Angry Lobster - 8 - 2lb lobster, really fresh and tasty
5. NY Strip - 9 - Pepper crust and really juicy inside
6. Ripped Baked potato - 10 - Probably one of the top 5 side's I ever had
7. Asparagus - 7 - It's asparagus, it is what it is
8. Chocoloate Cake - 7 - 24 layers, feeds 4 - 6 people, very good"

"Good food, good service, enjoyable atmosphere. The menu is a bit limited in the entree department. Server was attentive, decor was trendy and vibrant, and the food, especially the appetizers, were creative. By far, not your average hotel restaurant."
