Strega Waterfront at Fan Pier is now open, making this the second Strega in the Boston area, with the original being on Hanover Street in the North End. The new spot will feature two fireplaces as well as three separate private dining rooms, a lounge, and a wine room.

Fantastic specialties of the house - particularly the stuffed veal chop! The daily fish specials can be outstanding as well (bone-in swordfish filet and Chilean sea bass were both great). The wine list (favoring California wines) is as extensive as I have found; however, several were not available upon ordering.

Had a fabulous meal and experience. Best Halibut I have had in a long time. Waiter was a delight and Phil was warm and welcoming. Loved how he was so personable and proud of the restaurant. We will certainly go back!

Too cramped. They squeezed too many tables in so that you feel you are able to join the conversation at the next table. Risotto was worst ever!! Go to the North End. Any restaurant there would be MUCH better than this one. Service was attentive but the noise level was unbelievable and made it hard to hear the waiter.

very nice ambiance, view only surpassed by Sam's. However food was supremely disappointing. Utterly tasteless antipasto, out of season tomaotes. Menus sounded lovely but ultimate product failed to deliver. Too bad - unless they can fix it - otherwise lovely.

Appetizer was delicious, service wonderful. But the main course- we ordered the seafood special of the day: sea bass- was mediocre at best and way over-priced. This was our first lunch time visit, and not sure I would go back.

Our view was of some commercial bldg but that's not important.
Truly enjoyed our time, and looking forward to our return. Prices were very
reasonable, BUT the wine prices were exorbitant! Had they been more moderate
we would have had two bottles rather than one.
