Stories is named for its location on the second floor of the Hyatt Regency Lost Pines, with views of pecan trees, the pool and golf course, and for the historical literary component of Bastrop. Stories, the resort’s distinctive dining option with vaulted ceiling and rich, wildwood tabletops and… exhibition kitchen, is open for dinner seasonally. Service will be refined and sophisticated without being pretentious, and Stories will be home to a host of decadent desserts made from scratch, and also the resort’s master wine list with an extensive selection and by-the-glass offerings.
