"Had a wonderful lunch on the outside porch. Southern Eggroll appetizer was very good. I added the salmon to the storie street salad and my husband had the sandwich special. We both enjoyed our choices and can't wait to return."

"Always happy to eat at Storie Street. We had to wait for the greeter to finish a personal conversation. She then proceeded to turn us away without asking if we had a reservation. I do understand that this is a big part of what she does as they are usually booked solid. Still an odd way to start dinner. The food is always good."

"This was our first visit to Storie Street Grill and it was excellent! The food was both unique and creatively prepared. We were both very pleased with the quality and taste of our dishes. Definitely a step-up from a usual dining experience. It was a perfect dining experience for a romantic evening date."

"My husband and I dined at the Storie Street Grille for the first time the other night and were delighted to find another fine restaurant in the High Country. Storie Street is located right on Main St. in downtown Blowing Rock, one of the most charming towns in the NC mountains. The restaurant's decor is understatedly elegant, the service highly capable, the staff welcoming and friendly. Storie Street focuses on using local ingredients and the food is just delicious. My husband savored sliced duck breast resting on fingerling potatoes fried in duck fat, and I enjoyed a small steak with garlic/shallot butter, parsley whipped potatoes and asparagus. I highly recommend this restaurant; we'll definitely be back!"

"Very nice food, shrimp and grits were extremely tasty. Salmon cake salad was good. Only real downside is that it is a little bit cramped,but that didn't affect our evening too much. Would definitely recommend!"
