Stoney River Legendary Steaks - West EndMy 1st visit to SR was theMy 1st visit to SR was the Cool Springs, TN location. I really enjoyed it, I had fish and it was amazing. One thing caught my eye was the coffee filet. I thought that sounds odd, so, go with the fish. Next day, I told a friend of my experience as he had gone several times before me. I mentioned that coffee filet and sounding strange. I thought he was gonna smack me and cuss my momma. After the verbal beating i endured, the very next time, I ordered it (along with the whiskey shrimp) and well. My taste bud jumped outta my mouth and treated my big self, like rented mule. TOTALLY in love! Overall I believe the actual value for the meal is worth it. My wife loves it too. It makes gettin laid MUCH easier when the wife is this happy. The service is remarkable. The entire group made us feel as though they were there just for us even though the place was packed. Staff seemed overwhelmed, however we were seated at our reservation time and the food was excellent as usual. While competitors may have a thicker, perhaps tastier steak, none provide two vegetables with the entree. I ate here for our honeymoon in march of 2012. And we ate here this year for our anniversary. And this is where we plan to go for dinner every year on our anniversary. We have visited many times and always had the perfect experience. Two things stuck out on this visit... 1) My wife and I were celebrating our anniversary. The servers wished us a Happy Anniversary but we did not receive a complementary dessert. Not a huge deal, but the oversight was noticed by us. 2) I was not asked to cut into my steak to make sure it was the right temperature. It turned out my steak was not medium well as I ordered, but was medium.
