The service was horrible. It took almost an hour and half to get our entrees and they were wrong. They had no bake potatoes left. I think they left our food under a warmer waiting for the potatoes to cook. A manager brought out our food and said we have no more baked potatoes and brought us mashed. The manager was rude and the server was slow and never even gave us refills.

Food definitely not what it used to be. Encrusted dors not mean a dab spread on top. Rice was salty and like a box type. Sea bass was greasy. Steak was stringy. Service was ok. Prices high for the quality. Ahi tuna was not as good as can be found nrarby

The service staff was fantastic and very attentive. The kitchen was a bit slow considering the dining area was not full. We waited almost an hour from the time we ordered to receiving our meals. I called ahead to see if I could increase my party reservation from 3 to 5 people and was told over the phone that they were all booked up until late that evening and they could not accommodate the request. It was Mother's day so I understood why they could not accommodate me. When we arrived we found there were plenty of empty tables from the time we sat until the time we left. The food was good but there was nothing extraordinary about the food. There are plenty of other restaurants putting out the same quality food for much less cost.

I would dine at Stonewood two to three times a month. I feel like the quality has gone down and the prices have gone way too high. I know many that feel the same way.

Dinner was great. The wait for our food was quite lengthy. The manager came over to apologize. The waiter also apologized and mentioned a complimentary drink or dessert, but we never received either. My husband and I love Stonewood and will go back. However, this was a little disappointing.

As a party of 11 people, we were lucky to get a big table on a weekend night. Even luckier: great food for the steak-lovers AND the vegan and fish-only folks. I had a fish/filet mignon special, and both were excellent; good veggies too. Best surprise: a sophisticated, notable wine list, and a waitress who offered me tastes of several wines and discussed them knowledgeably. Superb service overall, in fact: when they ran out of mashed potato, a baked potato was offered to "munch on" until they brought the fresh batch of mashed. Not just "We ran out of mashed!" Desserts were pretty standard choices, but done well. Overall, very good value, and a good place to make merry!

I received a gift card from friends so thought we would give it a try. The atmosphere, the server and the appetizer were all fine. However, my entree (grouper) was nowhere near what we expected - too thick and fatty inside so couldn't eat it. My husband indicated that his salad (Stonewood Salad w/shrimp) was ok but nothing special. He managed to eat most of my entree then took the salad home (which wasn't good at all the next day). Due to our experience I cannot recommend Stonewood Grill & Tavern - Tuskawilla. We burned up $80+ of a $100 gift card and were not at all pleased about it.

My bf and I dined here for my birthday. I was so excited because trusted sources said it was amazing. We had a $50 gc so we splurged. Started with the seared ahi and it mediocre. The I got the crab encrusted mahi. He the sirloin rare. He loved his meal, but I thought the mahi was small and undercook. The sides were good including the pretzel in the bread basket. The salads were also delicioso! Out waitress was very nice and attentive.

Though food was very good, the prices were exorbitant. Our server was very pushy toward upselling and did not listen to what we had wanted. She had delivered a bottle of wine instead of hearing that only two in our party wanted a glass of wine. The menu prices for our wine selection was misleading as we thought we had ordered wine at $12 per glass and the charge was $17. The explanation was that there was a separate price listed for happy hour. We were disappointed with the overall experience.

It may be hard to believe but the service was to good. We received our drinks, an appetizer, and our entree in 15 minutes. Then the waiter brought the check within in 20 minutes of the whole dining experience and she took the check back before I even had a chance to get my card out of my wallet. The waiter and other staff were over bearing during the entire experience. We have 5 kids and we just wanted to enjoy a nice dinner out. Unfortunately, I feel like the staff was hopped up on speeders or something. We felt rushed, and the place was half empty. On a positive note the food and atmosphere were great. Just to set the record straight, we are in our 30's. We are not an older couple who are overly sensitive to this situation.

This is one of my go-to restaurants when I want to be absolutely sure of great food and service. This time around was no exception - I had the grilled shrimp and scallops and they were great. One of my dining companions had the pork chop, and it was so good he insisted that everyone at the table sample it - and this man is a chef himself. So bravo Stonewood Grill - keep up the good work!

First time here and was very impressed with the overall quality of the food and service. The only thing that needed improvement was the house salad. It was reluctantly iceberg lettuce and when you're purchasing a 30+ fillet, just doesn't seem to be the right balance! They had a Cesar, but mixed greens is the norm for most good restaurants.

Had a steak, company had some kind of fish dish. I don't frequent Stonewood, largely due to there not being one close to me, but I was in the area and figured i'd swing in. We made reservations from my cell phone and were seated immediately. Server was very courteous, very attentive. My glass never got empty, which is a pet peeve of mine, so i appreciated it. Steak was cooked as ordered, fish was cooked perfectly. Decent sized, but somewhat smaller portions. I would have given them 5 stars on the food, but i try and reserve that for a real 'knock-your-socks-off' meal. Not to say it wasn't excellent, as they beat all of the other chain places hands down. All in all, great meal.

The food was surprisingly good as this was our first time there. The service started out very slow but did get much better as the meal progressed. We had filet and seabass - both cooked perfectly. As for the dessert - so long as Christner's (Del Friscos) serves Orange Cake, don't even bother putting it on the menu. It was sugary.

Jim and I often visit Stonewood Grill. We return because we enjoy the food and the setting. Our servers are knowledgeable about the food and dirty dishes are promptly removed from the table. The food is served at the correct temperature. From a diners prospective every area of the dining area is clean. These are some of the reasons we return. Also love the quiet music.

We've been to this location several times and normally have had a pleasant experience. Our server this particular time was more interested in getting us out of her table than she was in helping us. She would ask a question and before we could respond, she was off! If I was given her section again, I'd definitely asked to be moved. The bad part, we were eating late in the evening and there were more empty tables than full, guess she was just ready to go home.
