  • "I've always loved Stonewood in Lake Mary - their Port Orange restaurant is just as nice. The food is reliably quite good - very nice fish dishes and a great chicken pot pie! Very nice wine list with about 1/3 off for happy hour (used to be 1/2 off), so it's a good place to try some high end wines. Leave room for the chocolate bread pudding which is big enough to share. The restaurant is upscale without being too pricey. I highly recommend it for a special occasion."

  • "My wife and I go to Stonewood's often, we enjoy the atmosphere and food. The dining area is dimly lit and gives off a cozy feeling. The food is always very good. The fish and steak have always been cooked to request. The bread basket contains soft pretzel bread which is fantastic. The wine list has improved over the past 2 years and is more in-line with "slightly" upscale wine choices, however, not the upscale price, which is nice. We also like the fact that you can be seated at the bars tables immediately, if available. Their bar menu specials are also a treat. The mostly 30+ bar scene is controlled and pleasant. Stonewood's will continue to be our "go-to" spot in Port Orange."

  • "Our Friday night card group decided to go to dinner before we played cards one week. The online reservation system was easy to use and confirmations were received to remind us of our event. We were seated right away and our server, Heather was extremely attentive throughout the evening which added to our enjoyment. When our food was delivered, everyone was pleased by the portion size even though we ordered the $22 specials for the night. We didn't have room for our included desserts and Heather made sure they were boxed for us to take home. I might add here that this was the best Key Lime Pie I have eaten in a very long time. All in all, everyone was pleased with the taste of their meals and the ambiance of the restaurant."

  • "Was on vacation in Daytona Beach and found this restaurant on Open Table. Great food (we all had filets), salads were crisp and green (definitely get the Asian Sesame dressing - so good!), and wine and cocktails. Even the Key Lime Pie was a hit! My grandmother's steak was a little too done for her liking, and they fixed it right away. I'd go back again!"

  • "We stopped for dinner on our way back into town. As always the food was good and included steak for some, seafood for others etc so everybody was happy when we were done. As a bonus we ate in the bar area and watched a bit more of the NCAA tournament. Nice night, good food - will keep coming back."

  • "Starting with the bruschetta, I was surprised that it came with a delicious and thick vinaigrette sauce (which was not listed on the menu) but was an excellent idea for the large servings. The sea bass filet was large and extremely tender and cooked perfectly. It had a crushed wasabi peas crust which was an excellent foil for the lightly flavored fish. It was served with a soy wasabi sauce, which although alright, could have been much better had it been thicker and less shy with the wasabi. My server, Ed, answered my numerous questions about the menu and wine selection quickly and knowledgeably. I found it refreshing."

  • "We have eaten at Stonewood many times, usually a table for two or four. It is always exceptional. This occasion was for eight on a busy Speedweeks weekend. Due to our reservation, we were seated immediately. Erica was extremely attentive. Only issue was we did not see her for about 30 min after first seeing us and taking our immediate bruschetta order. I asked her to put it in and then take drink order. Bruschetta arrived bf drink order was placed. I am sure it was due to her being so busy. Other gaps were less, but still a concern of some of our guests."

  • "My husband and I went to Stonewood for Valentines Day. We had an 830 reservation and were seated as soon as we walked in. We ordered the clam chowder. It was one of the best. My husband had the Shrimp and Scallops with rice pilaf and broccoli He said it was very good. I had the Rack of Lamb in a demiglaze. It came with mashed potatoes and asparagus. It was delicious. I would definitely go back again"

  • "My husband and I drive by the Stonewood Grill all the time and say we want to try it, so for Valentines Day we did. The food was excellent and our server was very attentive and personable which is a big plus for us. Usually on Valentines day the service is pushy and the food is not always up to any establishments usual standard. We ordered the special and did not find that to be the case at all, everything was very good and since my husband and I do not get out for nice dinners often we really enjoyed ourselves and appreciated the great food and service. Our table was ready so we did not go in but the bar area was full of people who all looked to smiling and really enjoying themselves. We will definately be going back."

  • "We ate at the bar, which got crowded and very energetic while we were there. However, the food and service were exceptional. I had the filet & lobster special which also included a salad and loaded baked potato. The lobster was perfectly cooked as was the filet. Both were delicious. My husband had a Caesar salad followed by a hamburger. He said both were great. Our server was Corie who was very conscientious about her job and making sure everyone around the bar was attended to. She and the other bartender worked very well as a team."
