We come here when we are in the mood for pizza. They have an open flame gas oven that does a nice job (although it's not a wood oven) and offer a nice variety of 11" pizzas. In our opinion, they serve the best pizza in the area!

We have eaten here several times and are never disappointed. This is the second time having the Prime Rib and must admit it is a favorite, a very nice cut and prepared beyond anything ever found in Rapid City. Staff was very friendly and engaging, were treated as special friends. Will continue to recommend to all.

We thoroughly enjoyed the fresh baked bread right out of the brick oven. Artichoke/Spinach appetizer was great. Entree's were the Chicken Parmesan and the Stuffed Pork Chop; fantastic! For desert we savored the crème brule and the raspberry cobbler; delicious! The service was awesome, and the prices were very reasonable! Try it out!

Amazing valentines menu. Not that they needed it. Stonewalls is always a solid choice for high quality food. But the truffle mashed potatoes really put the meal over the top for me. The steaks are always superb. Mmmmm, can't wait to come back.

We were a party of 4, including friends from out-of-town. We suggested this restaurant since we were interested in prime rib. Unfortunately only two smail slices were left; one of them was well done, not medium rare as requested. The chef should have told the waitress to suggest another item on the menu.

We had a belated Christmas gathering at Stonewalls recently and every single person in our large party was impressed. The food was delicious, some commented it was the best Prime Rib they had ever had, and the service was wonderful. Our server was polite, friendly, and on top of everything. None of us had to wait for refills and the pace of the meal was perfect. I am definitely recommending this restaurant to friends in the area!

Went to this place with my mom and wife for lunch. The atmosphere was great and it seemed like a pretty cool place. Lunch menu was pretty limited. We each got a burger an they were just okay. Pretty small and a bit overdone considering how we ordered them. I've heard good things about the dinner menu here and particularly the pizzas but they don't serve pizzas at lunch time.

We had the best meal of our vacation at Stonewalls. It was not crowded and the service was great. I had the buffalo filet and it was worth every cent. The bread they serve is fresh and tasty. It doesn't look like much from the outside, but this place is an absolute gem.

We each had Bison Flank Steaks and found the wine selection and food to be very good - delivered to our table piping hot and nicely timed with our soup and salads. Bread was provided and it too was very good - firm flavorful crust and delicate bread inside. The service was outstanding and the staff seemed to enjoy their customers and the ownership. We will definately return the next time we visit Rapid City!

I felt a bit hurried through the meal, I wouldn't say that it was a nice, relaxing sit-down meal experience. I felt hurried to order & hurried to finish up, almost as if they were waiting for the big crowd to show up. The salad was a great salad (no iceberg lettuce, thanks!). The meal itself was a different matter altogether. The steak looked as if it had been lightly-boiled (pale) with absolutely no flavor whatsoever, even though I used steak sauce several times. I would have spoken up but I don't think it would have made any difference, if that's how they cook their steaks it won't be any different the second time around. The dessert also was refrigerated and had little flavor.

We had a business dinner at Stonewalls and couldn't have been happier with the food, service and ambiance. The wait staff was extremely accommodating, pleasant, cheerful and kind to our group of 12. The online reservations worked flawlessly. I'm excited to hold another event at Stonewalls!

We had dinner there on a Friday night and the restaurant was half empty. It took forever to get a quesadilla appetizer and even longer for the pizza we ordered to arrive at the table. Although some people on Trip Advisor raved about the pizza, we found it to be very ordinary at a very expensive price.....so much for the credibility of reviews! The Cobb salad I ordered was the size of a side salad.....and it was $10.99! So not worth it! We won't be back.

We come here for the pizza, which is the best in the area. We have not eaten much else on their menu. Being oenophiles, we like to bring our own bottle when we eat out. We would eat here more often if their corkage fee was lower and more competitive with other eateries in the area.

I was very impressed by this little place. We were going there for the pizza, which was delicious. They have many non-traditional options for pizza topping which made the experience fun. They also had a great variety of other food as well like salads and sandwiches as well as chicken entrees and such. They are also known for their coffee, so if you are a coffee snob this is the place for you.

We have previously dined at Stonewall's and were impressed; however, recently we recommended you to friends, and, I am sorry to say, they were not terribly impressed. As for our last visit, we were also disappointed: the mashed potatoes were cool and had to be sent back. Not a great thing. And when one of the diners in our group got his mashed potatoes back, his plate was minus his asparagus. The spinach artichoke dip that we shared was so stringy that we had difficulty sharing it. The halibut was just so-so. The desserts were good and the service fine. I am so sad because I (we) are big fans of locally owned restaurants and hate to have only chains in our city to choose from.

I've been to Stonewalls before; their pizza is amazing. I wanted pasta this time so oli ordered spaghetti, and I wish I would have had pizza. It just wasn't great, put I know their other pasta dishes are. I love that they will seal your bottle of wine up in a carrying bag so you don't have an open container. Overall, we had a lovely ladies night out, our waiter was amazing and told us that even though they clase at nine we wouldn't get kicked out for staying a little later. :)
