The customer service was outstanding (many restaurants could take note). The quality of the food was superb and portion size was just right. And of course, can't forget about the wine. My fiancé and I chose the tasting of 3 wines. The selection was top notch. I had both the Italian and French read wine flights (so i was buzzing) and thought the wines were excellent. As i read in other reviews the food was good but the portions were small (this was fine for my wife but I have a bigger appetite) - i solved this by ordering a couple of small plates and cheese along with my main meal. We got there early (5:15) so it was not crowded but I can see the seating getting really tight when it is crowded. Typical NY, small tables, close quarters, etc. The service was very good, everyone was friendly and it was not pretentious at all (which wine bars tend to be). GREAT surprise. Did not know this place but liked a lot. All the food was great. Kale salad and liver pate to start - and the PASTAS were AMAZING We shared one of each - both outstanding. Pecan dessert was a treat. Nice wine by the glass. A solid meal without being stuffed.
