We were greeted by energetic and friendly staff at the reception area. The calamari was perfectly tender and when served with a trio of sauces, was most enjoyable. The blackened seasoning on the salmon entree ( with tiger shrimp, on basmati rice ) was nicely balanced in flavour. The dessert chocolate brownie with a dollop of french vanilla ice-cream, over laid with a caramel drizzle, was delicious. Though we were a boisterous group, we were never made to feel that we did not fit in. The food was excellent, the service was good as well as the ambiance.
Aside from the mistake of me paying my friend's bill and vice versa, because we were each handed the wrong bill (we did not check the bills before paying), we enjoyed our time at Stone House.
Regarding the Noise rating of moderate, we as a group were loud!, but the restaurant was gracious.2/3/2013 12:00:00 AM
