The hostess and waitress were very polite and gave excellent service. The food was delicious, we both got filets and they were cooked perfectly. Our bill was $92, which was in part because of the overpriced drinks. It was quite busy due to Mother's Day traffic, but the restaurant planned well and had lots of wait staff working to handle the rush. Service was timely and very nice. Shrimp Cocktail very good. Because it was Mother's Day, and many people arrived without reservations, they elected to sit at the bar. Elizabeth had the entire bar and our area. She did a good job but slow due to the large volume of people she was required to serve. We are never let down as the Food and Service is always Spot On. From the moment you walk in and see the ambiance to the soft music playing in the background you just won't be disappointed. The Menu is large enough to include something for all tastes but not overbearing and you will most definetly be satisfied with any choice. Food is always top notch - our server was a gem.
I have to say that we were surprised to be placed in the small table in the open area by the kitchen. Traffic and noise was maximized - everyone coming into the restaurant walks right by the table. I'm guessing it's the worst spot in the restaurant.

Most places overcook my steak (I order medium rare), but Stone Creek got it right! I love the dipping sauce for the bread, just enough zing to it! Our waiter was fabulous! Very friendly, but not overly friendly where we felt he was intrusive.

The steaks are always cooked to order and the crab cakes are one of the bests for land locked Indy. The Seafood Trio and Goat Cheese appetizers are wonderful and great for a large group to share. We enjoyed the ambiance and the service was excellent, as were the entrees and the wine. We were both a little disappointed with our starters. The french onion soup was only so-so and seemed to have been microwaved rather than baked or broiled. The wedge salad had a sweet dressing (my fault for not seeing that in the menu description, I guess; I would not have chosen that) and the bleu cheese was in large, moist pieces that couldn't be crumbled and would only mash when I attempted to separate it into smaller chunks to distribute over the lettuce. Every time we go in, and we go in a lot, the food is the same great combination we've come to expect. The service is always good but most notable thing about this entire chain is the consistency in the quality of the food. You could have the same dish 4 weeks in a row if you wanted and the flavor, preparation, proportions and temperature would all be the same every time. We've never had a bad meal here. And the early bird specials make the trip as economical as they are enjoyable. One of our favorites.
I might also add that they seem to have really stepped up their fish selection too! The server was great --- he was attentive, personable, answered all of our questions, and was fast with refilling our drinks. The General Manager came by to see if we needed anything and ended up being our personal photographer - at his suggestion. The food was out quickly, hot, everyone's meal was correct (even with the alterations that were made), and tasted great. I would recommend Stone Creek to everyone. Slow roasted prime rib was wonderful per my husband. We had Beer battered shrimp which were huge with a very good light batter that let the taste of the shrimp come through.
