But yesterday was the second time on a holiday (Mother's Day) when they just couldn't keep up. Waited almost an hour from ordering to receiving entrees...and two of them were cold when we got them. It seems that they know the kitchen can't keep up, because there were many empty tables, yet the hostess was quoting an hour wait. Apparently they know not to fill every table, but even the 3/4 full dining area was too much for the kitchen. The food is always great, but the wait and cooled food really took away from the experience. We always take out-of-town guests who appreciate good food and beer to Stone Brewery. The outdoor dining area is fantastic, with beautiful scenery. Additionally, the food is a great, eclectic blend of options that is sure to have something for everyone. The pork chop is fantastic as is the Chicken Schnitzel, the talapia and the sausage platter. My father got the mushroom penne pasta and, not being a mushroom fan, I thought I would not like it but it was simply wonderful. Dessert selection is sub par compared to the rest of the experience but that is only due to a lack of options (seemingly). Once we ordered and the brownie came out...WOW. Amazing!
Gorgeous outside experience with a very tasteful decor inside. Best part....THE BEER! Stone is simply delicious and they have a VAST list from other breweries. The food and ambience here are fabulous and, even with lots of alcohol flowing, it doesn't have a "bar" feel. There was a wedding going on but it still had a cozy feel. I would definitely recommend this place to everyone that lives in the area. No problems with our reservation, we were seated right on time. First thing I noticed that even though it was a large room and filled to capacity I could still have a conversation with the other 5 people at my table without shouting. In other words, whoever treated the room acoustically did a tremendous job.
It goes without saying that the beer was excellent.
Everyone seemed quite satisfied with their entrees as well. I had the Sea Bass, loved it, but the chicken schnitzel was looking pretty good as well. We had some appetizers, the quail and boar ribs and highly recommend both.

The ambiance of Stone Brewery was fun and modern with beautiful lush greenery, fountains, and a koi pond. Our server was phenomenal - friendly and informative. We found out that all of the food they serve is grown organically on site and prepared fresh for each meal. We were very impressed. My husband's birthday dining experience was made complete with a complimentary birthday beer float. Personally I love this place. I've been here about a half dozen times and every time has been amazing. This time for no less, except in one place: the service. Neil seemed to never come over. He never cleared our plates or empty beer glasses. I had to call over Chris, a water server, to help us out because Neil fell short of his duty.
I won't go on because I do love this place. Food is superb. The beer is some of the best in the world. The restaurant is absolutely gorgeous. I was absolutely astounded at the growth of the trees in the garden area- proof that drought tolerant can also be lush and beautiful! We had Easter brunch outside on the patio~ two of us ordered the Omelette Bar and the third ordered off the menu. All of the food was excellent as was the wait staff. The Omelette bar set up near the trees and water feature was a great idea. I waited for 30 minutes watching parties arrive and be seated. Eventually the lobby was clear and many tables were available through out the restaurant. The three hostesses were all chatting at the front so I went up to ask when my half hour old reservation would be filled. It seemed they had just forgotten about us and I was then seated right away. The rest of the dining experience was lovely. Our server was knowledgeable and friendly, the food was outstanding.
