Since I am a wine drinker, I was happy to find out that they had an extensive list for my taste buds. Dined fairly late on a Tuesday night so loud noise was not an issue (as others have mentioned). I had the duck which ranked right up there as the best I've ever had. Husband had the tenderloin which I thought was fantastic and he proclaimed it very good. Unanimous that the creamed potatoes were to die for--don't know what their secret is but the best potatoes ever. Rhubard with mango garnish dessert was delicious. Only disappointment was their coffee machine was broken (?). So for a cup of coffee modified a latte from the espresso machine; paid the espresso price and no second cup offered. Everyone in our party thoroughly enjoyed this plate and the drinks were amazing too. I had the seared scallops with polenta and bacon. The scallops were cooked to perfection and the polenta, which I thought that I did not like, had a stiff creamy texture that was unbelievably wonderful. The Moscow Mule I ordered tasted delicious and had plenty of alcohol in it. Came to Stoddard's based on Yelp reviews and were more than pleased. I had the rabbit and she had the tenderloin, both were amazing. The fondue was great and I loved that it came with tons of vegetables! Cocktails and beer selection were also amazing and we both definitely went home happy. Cocktails excellent! Service also excellent. The only issue I had was all the 2 tops were really close together and it was loud so I felt like there wasn't any privacy. The food is excellent. The bar and beer selection is great and the staff is very knowledgeable when helping you select a beer.
