Very easy navigation on website to reservations and was able to get one within the 1/2 hour. Waited all of 10 mins for a table after arrival even though place was busy. Very helpful hostess got us to a great booth. Our server was AWESOME! Very patient with my kids and was able to answer all of our questions that we had. Food was great and the portions were huge. But now..the menu is varied and appealing and the food quality has been increased a thosand fold. It is a warm and welcoming environment to share a delicious meal, or to sit at the spacious bar and watch a game w.a drink and appetizer. I've been three times in 2 months and have not been disappointed. Great raw bar, steaks, and great value wines by the glass. For many many years that was my favorite place to go. I was slightly concerned when new ownership took over. upon our arrival I was pleased to see that the building wasnt changed too much. The few changes made were done well. Our experience there was absolutely great. I was sad to see the old stockyard go. The older stockyard was comfortable, affordable, and more of a locals place. The new stockyard is considerably more expensive due to the image change from a locals place to a high end steak house. The waitress we had was absolutely terrific. She made our experience very comfortable. Our meal was fabulous. The place looks great after the renovation, and it seems to have regained its clientele quite quickly based on how busy it was on a Thursday night (though it was not too noisy, which is important to me). Our waiter was great, and my lemon sole with lobster croquette was steaming hot and delicious. The chocolate cake I had for dessert (it was my birthday!) was large and very good (I took quite a bit home). Was rectified and manager very attentative and apologetic, and responded by comping us for our drinks.
