  • "The restaurant is in a good location, the food wa excellant and the staff were very helpful. The noise level was too loud for out liking."

  • "Great food, service was fantastic. We went St. Patrick's Day weekend, so it was really crowded/busy but really fun."

  • "Each of the dishes we ordered were well prepared and very tasty. The sauces that came with the Sausage plate, (Happy Hour Menu) are Outstanding!! Service could not have been better."

  • "To be honest I like the ambiance of the old La Barca than SinT. The lighting is good but they need more decor in the place. Hang more paintings, wall art, furniture, etc. Feels bare. The food was good but the menu was lacking. Good ol comfort food that was OK. Nothing memorable. The staff were awesome and the bocci ball is a fun and nice touch. Maybe some live music in the back? With some lounge seating? And more couples tables vs so many long community tables."

  • "Stock in Trade needs to decide what they want to be, a sports bar or a fine dining restaurant. The food and drinks were excellent (several dishes sampled and shared among friends), the service was also excellent, but it's a sports bar with many large screen TVs in the cavernous space. I would definitely return if I wanted to go to a sports bar and have good food while watching a game but I wouldn't return for a dining experience. I wish them the best."

  • "Had a great time! Limited but interesting menu. We started with the Bacon Caramel Popcorn (must have) and Guac and Black bean coconut dip and chips. The Guac was good, but paled in comparison tho the amazing black bean coconut dip. Made new friends and shared food with the table next to us. I had the shrimp grits, which were served with warm bread. Don't get the carb on carb bread side, the grits were delicious and wish there were more of them! Didn't touch the bread, but would have if we didn't order appetizers. Hubby had the steak sandwich. I was too busy chatting with our neighbors to ask him how it was. Our gorgeous and charming server Michelle, brought us a carafe of Bellini and Mimosa and kept them coming ($15 for bottomless)."

  • "Great time at Stock in Trade. Grabbed a last minute rezo for 4, then called and upped it to 6 no problem. Eventually showed up with 8 and they were able to take us, happily. Food satisfies a wide range of tastes, and drinks are a plenty. Great place for groups and kids and a bocce court to boot!"

  • "We came here with our 10-year-old. The menu had numerous items he was interested in, which is always a good start. The Bocce court was a huge hit with him. We played a couple of games, and were joined by the child of another diner. The Maple and Bacon Popcorn was fantastic...and we really liked the Guacamole and the unusual Coconut-tinged Bean Dip. Shrimp and Grits is a heavenly dish, which I'm sure we'll return for. The Calamari was light and not overly greasy. It seemed like every item we ordered had something special and good going on -- care was being taken to make the dishes memorable. We'll definitely be back. Our server was informative, friendly, and attentive, once we initially got onto his radar (early reservation)."

  • "My friend and I attended Paint Nite function in this tavern and we arrived an hour early to eat dinner prior to the event. We had a great time and loved the food! My friend had the mac n cheese w/sausage and I had the nachos with chicken and steak. Be prepared the nachos can feed an army! They are amazing, too! We noticed the owner walking around introducing himself, which was refreshing and made us feel at home. Very friendly atmosphere and the service is great, either at the bar or at the tables."

  • "Fully enjoyed our girls night out to Stock In Trade. Perfect atmosphere - exactly what we were looking for. Started out with a late dinner and watched the restaurant transform into a trendy bar with a fun crowd. We were able to stay in our table the whole night and enjoy the scene. We split three dishes- black bean/coconut dip, fried chicken sliders and sausage mac n cheese. All fabulous. Excellent- attentive service and reasonably priced. We will be returning."

  • "Had a wonderful time here. The servers are great; fun and friendly. I have been here for brunch many times. The food is wonderful and the bottomless bubbly is the way to go. It can get pretty packed on game days so make a reservation and expect it to be loud. But on a standard weekend its absolutely perfect for a group of friends to enjoy food and a fun atmosphere."

  • "Great service during brunch. The waitress kept up the refills on bottomless mimosas. This is also the only place I've been that has three different flavors and you can try them all! The Bocce Ball court is great fun and adds to the overall vibe of the restaurant. Highly recommend!!"

  • "I had my birthday brunch at Stock N Trade, and I had 20 people show up, and we had excellent service the entire time and they always made sure our bottomless mimosas were never empty! I highly recommend this place for brunch! The food was also great, the breakfast burrito was the favorite of everyone! Our server was also great and super patient with us trying to figure out the table and bill situation."

  • "Granted we were there for brunch during a 49er game but it was extremely loud, had to yell across the table....though that was fine. Service was horrible. We waited over 30 minutes before anyone even came to our table, then another 20 for drinks to arrive (I ordered 2 as I knew it would be next to impossible to get another one) the cocktails were great and the food was fantastic once it finally got there an hour after we sat down. I felt bad for our waitress as it seemed like she had a section of 10+ tables on a really busy day. I would love to check it out again on a non-football day as the food was great and it is also a great place to watch a game as they have multiple TV's but I will bring a flask and some Taco Bell if I do that again!"

  • "arrived at 1pm..told to wait for 45 mins ..seems to be very hectic sports bar with dining room as afterthought ..tv screens everywhere ..including dining - room ! probably fine for the under - 25s ..obssessed with 49ers ..but not for anyone wanting to converse with dining partner , and enjoy a quietish meal ..manager very accomodating , and wait - staff polite ..but whole experience rather shocking .ivery , very loud."

  • "I went here for brunch on a 49er football Sunday. It was busy. Service was so slow, and the menu was simple. If you want breakfast options, they are limited here. Not one omelette listed. I'm a big fan of bottomless mimosas brunch with carafes on the table, and they did this, which was the only perk. If I lived in the Marina, I may go again, but it's not worth the journey from other neighborhoods. Nothing special here, unless you like sports and need a lot of TVs."

  • "The place was packed with USC fans in town for the Cal Bears football game. Very noisy but not rowdy ! The waitress was very busy and efficient , she seemed to make everything work. We were there for brunch and the waitress made sure we never ran out of Mimosas !! The burgers were a bit soggy but tasty ! Hardly anyone over 25. young crowd."

  • "Disappointed :( the service was slow, the menu item I specifically went to try had been taken off the menu, but not reflected on the website. It was insanely loud!!"

  • "Took my parents to Stock in Trade for dinner on a Friday night. They were visiting from out of town and I wanted to take them somewhere approachable, but with a good sampling of classic American/San Franciscan food and good energy. The bacon caramel popcorn blew us away and the poutine is a must-order with rich chicken gravy, cheese curds and bacon. Dad had the pork chop which he said was the best he's ever had and Mom had the petrale sole which was also killer — the cashews add some great texture. Stock in Trade is definitely doing something right. We stayed for almost 4 hours just chatting and enjoying ourselves and I'll definitely bring them back on their next visit."

  • "No one greeted us when we arrived, and we spent a few minutes looking at the bar and empty tables. I asked the busboy whether we should seat ourselves, and eventually someone came to seat us. She frowned when we didn't want to sit in the front where all the noise and drinking was going on. We got seated, then several waiters and busboys walked by, but no one stopped at our table. Eventually a guy brought water, but then it took forever for the waitress to show up. The sole, like public school fish stick lunches, was fried beyond what is good for fish, and salted to cover the flavor. Why is it $20, when the poor dried slab is stuck on top of noodles, and the big shavings of carrot are too big to eat in one bite, but too thick to cut easily?"

  • "Wow, what a pleasant surprise. Our first time going there since La Barca was there. We loved La Barca and were unsure how this would compare. This was beyond expectations. The appetizers were incredible. We ordered way to many apps and didn't do our dinner justice. My halibut and my husbands pork chop were cooked to perfection. I can't wait to go back and try the burger."

  • "We had brunch there and were nicely greeted.. We were all hungry and immediately ordered the delicious bacon caramel popcorn and the delicious bottomless Bellini. Then we each ordered a sandwhich and ordered the French toast and sausage Mac & cheese for the table. I had the chicken sandwhich which was perfect - tender juicy charred chicken on a nice soft bun with avocado, bacon and slaw. The sausage Mac & cheese is really good - cheese sauce and spicy sausage with well-cooked elbow macaroni is a great combination. The server was very attentive and friendly. The french toast was also very good, but pretty basic. The decor is expansive and fun with appropriate nods to the 'ranchero' style the place had before when in was La Barca."

  • "Read a review about the place having undergone a complete remodel and addition of a bocce ball court. Were looking forward to some fun. Mixed drink was just OK and the single bocce ball court was not inviting. The food (burger, fries, fish) was OK but not worth a trip back. The music was deafening. The bus boy was fantastic."
