"the steak was amazing done perfectly , the beef short ribs were also amazing. the mozzarella buffalo appetizer was very good. the peanut butter cup dessert was very rich, overall a very delicious nice romantic chic and good for groups place. definitely recommend !"

"The filet mignon was absolutely delicious and perfectly cooked; I would avoid the pepper crust if you don't like your food to be too spicy! My friend could not finish it. The truffle fries are really good as well, worth trying. Large selection of wines available."

"Trendy and loud (and we were there early, before the energy really got started). All the typical steak house items, very well prepared, and with an unusually wide range of small and medium-sized cuts for people who don't need 24 ounce portions. Also, very good non-steak choices; our party had excellent duck and a wonderful pork chop."

"I was quite underwhelmed with STK. I truly feel that a great steakhouse should be as much about the service as the food. Our waiter was borderline inattentive and seemed to be just trying to get through the night. I also feel that side dishes at a steak restaurant can make the meal. These did not. The corn pudding was bland, the brussel sprouts were uninspired, and the mushrooms had good flavor, but I've certainly had much better. Overall, there are many better choices."

"Excellent service and ambiance. The bartender in the smaller bar was engaging. Our server was very attentive and demonstrated great menu knowledge..... and when the kitchen made a minor slip up she remedied it immediately. 32oz Cowboy steak with peppercorn rust was memorable - I could never tire of that - without a doubt one of the best steaks I've ever had. My guests porterhouse was very good but not quite at the standard we've come to expect at other top NYC steak houses. Lobster tail as a side was a bit overpriced, but was cooked to perfection Atmosphere is buzzy and makes for an energetic night out. A 5 star restaurant without a doubt..but go hungry and have the big steak."

"the food was great- we walked in and hostess and girl who sat us down was not very cordial. We tried to ask for a special table in the main room and they were not very accommadating. We tried several times and girls were not friendly or helpful
All else was good"
