A word from STK - Atlanta
STK artfully blends two concepts into one—the modern steakhouse and a chic lounge. A large central lounge area is furnished with creamy leather banquettes and textured crocodile tiles, and is surrounded by an elevated dining room for more formal dining. Theatrical lights illuminate each table, while a DJ creates an energetic vibe throughout the entire space. STK Atlanta is located at 1075 Peachtree Street in the heart of Midtown Atlanta. Executive Chef Jeremy Miller mans the kitchen of the two-story restaurant situated adjacent to the Loews Hotel. As anticipated, steak is the main attraction. With a female-friendly mindset, STK offers small, medium and large cuts of meat, as well as naturally raised options and market fresh fish entrees. Aside from steak, signature items include Parmesan Truffle Fries; Lil’ BRGs; Shrimp Rice Krispies; Sweet Corn Pudding; and Jump Lump Crab Salad.

Diner Reviews
  • "Awesome atmosphere and the staff was amazing. I will most defiantly be dining here again. The food was amazing."

  • "Very overrated and over priced and there weren't too many options of food to choose from. I expected a spectacular meal but I was very unsatisfied."

  • "I really enjoy the service and ambience. The waiter was very good and everyone was enjoying themselves."

  • "The music was too loud '80s rock. If the food had been 1/3 as good as our waiter's enthusiastic descriptions we would have been happy. Three of us all did not like our appetizers (oysters & salads). We all had filets (one large and two medallion size), which were ok at best. The wine list is limited and way overpriced. Given the plethora of great restaurants in Atlanta, this place can't ride on its legacy much longer."

  • "Jared our server was excellent. Very knowledgable of the menu and patient when answering questions. We will definitely return."

  • "This is a great special occasion restaurant. It is expensive. But I did say "special" occasion Our waiters, Joe and Gigi, were attentive, knowledgeable, and not annoying. We started with the seafood tower and octopus bites. Seafood tower was wonderful the other not so much. Our entrees and side were all delicious. I highly recommend you experience STK"

  • "Amazing service my waiter Andrew was the best. Mark had a great birthday and 1st time visit to STK."

  • "This was our first time dining at STK. A friend recommended the restaurant, and we were not disappointed. The food was delicious. The steaks perfectly prepared - and most importantly, not over salted. For me, nothing spoils steak more than over salting. Highly recommend the 10 oz. Filet, the New York Strip, Yukon Potatoes, Sauteed Mushrooms and Hearts of Romaine Salad. We ended the meal on a high note with Peach Cobbler. The decor is low key and lovely. The service friendly, helpful and attentive. A very nice touch was an email for the STK Manager, Mr. Alexander, thanking us for dining and offering future assistance for dining needs. Thank you for an enjoyable dining experience."

  • "Our server Lailana was great. Very friendly and helpful but not intrusive. The steaks were great and I love the sweet corn pudding. We had the donuts for desert and they were awesome. A high-end version of a childhood favorite."

  • "Went in after work after hearing the buzz. Waited to be seated as the hostess socialized. Understandable, but still had to wait to be acknowledged. Sat at the bar and was overwhelmed by paint fumes from the downstairs dining room. Again nuisance but no big deal. But the bartender's service was exceptionally poor. 3 people at the bar. Took forever to acknowledge me. Got my drink right but everything else wrong. Steak temperature was completely wrong. Truffle fries were undercooked. Bread was ok. The bartender spent all night talking about inappropriate things as opposed to taking care of customers. Very low on my list to return."

  • "My wife and I are strong proponents of great service and believe our culture has strayed away from such an important success factor. After many recently unsuccessful dining experiences, we have slowly lost our desire to go out. Then came STK. Great ambience, good food, and most of all AMAZING service. Never did I have to ask the staff to accomplish simple obvious tasks (i.e., fill my water or champagne flute). The servers and table runners maintained the cleanliness of our dining area, as well as, ensured our experience was satisfactory. Honestly, I didn't expect STK to be such an experience. With its modern twist of decor and hip atmosphere, you'd expect its staff to take on the modern day approach of service (or lack thereof). NOT STK!"

  • "I had a Friday night birthday dinner for a party of 10. Our waiter was not very attentive. We waited a long time before he gave us the specials and in the middle of taking our dinner orders he stopped to assist another table, telling us to "wait a minute" as he proceeded to go back to the kitchen for the other guests. He also took an extremely long time to return our check and when he did, he had an attitude. On top of the horrible service, the food was mediocre at best. I've had better steak/seafood @ LongHorns. Only plus was the atmosphere, which was chic and vibrant with a DJ spinning some dance/club tunes. I would not recommend STK Atlanta to any of my friends & colleagues."

  • "STK is a hip and stylish steak restaurant in Midtown. The atmosphere is fun and vibrant - not dull and sleepy like many steakhouses. I visit STK often and always come back for the ambiance, food and service. Nicole at the bar is the best! She is a professional at what she does and serves terrific drinks with an amazing personality and smile. Have Nicole pour your next drink and you won't be disappointed!"

  • "The service was impeccable, the food fantastic. But after 9 pm the music level goes up.....waaaaay up and the seats were vibrating and my stomach was jumping. Not a great place for a romantic date, after 9 only - before that is is awesome).... if you like to talk to each other."

  • "My wife and I went to STK to celebrate our anniversary. We ate around 7:00 and found the bar area loud and less than conducive to eating. We felt rushed by the waitor. Generally the food was good. The prices were equal to a restaurant that should serve top cuisine. The steak is good - not great. The appetizers were OK - the beef tartare was drowned in some sort of mayonnaise sauce/flavor. Great tartare should allow the taste of a quality grind of meat. My wife had stuffed oysters and again - they were good - not great. The price of the meal was the highest I have paid in Atlanta. We decided that we would opt to not have dessert at STK and went back to another restaurant for a drink at the bar and a proper dessert. Best choice of the night!"

  • "Beautiful place. Very nice owner and hostesses. The banana pie dessert was excellent. My filet was Medium Well and I ordered Medium Rare. Waiter was a "features" salesperson who launched into details and needed to say "excuse me" the numerous times he interrupted us. And no iced tea. In the South?! Really?"

  • "Great food, phenomenal service, and a place catered to a younger generation with 90's rock playing. "

  • "The ambiance was beautiful but the good was not great. I had 3 different things and I did not enjoy either one of them. Great scene, but not the place to go if you are hungry."

  • "We had dinner here for our anniversary. The lounge and bar area were spacious and not filled when we arrived around 9:00 p.m. Within minutes our waitress came and gave us water options and took our drink orders. They did forget our appetizer but the food was plentiful enough and came out quickly so we didn't miss it. The cocktails were good and the people watching was entertaining. The table was a bit small for dinner sized plates, drinks, and the bread they give you to start. But, we'd definitely return."

  • "Met an old friend here and was immediately glad we picked a quiet Sunday night. This place looks like a hopping club the rest of the week. Have never heard Quiet Riot playing while dining before. We had skirt steak, tuna tar tare and Brussels sprouts -- all beyond delicious. The recommended truffle fries were not. "

  • "I just moved to Atlanta and my friends came to visit, so we wanted to experience a great Atlanta restaurant. I must say that STK definitely impressed all of us. The ambience is awesome if you enjoy hearing those 90s hits that made you dance when you were a teenager, the oyster platter that we had was phenomenal, and our server Jarrett topped it off by being fun and attentive. It made my weekend, and I know that my girlfriends had a good time. Thanks Jarrett, we will be back!"

  • "Don't have the quality to go NY Steakhouse as server claimed. Meat was good, sides and wine list lacking on quality and selection. "
    Dined on 5/29/2014
  • "We have dined here before, but probably not again. Our first experience was delicious with a cool edge, but STK now seemed like a nightclub with an expensive steak place tacked on. Except it was half empty, so the blaring rock and 80s-90s music seemed downright silly and actually detracted from the good food. The shoe show & hemline hike made for fun people watching at least. "

  • "I've been to STK in Las Vegas and New York and had a wonderful experience, however, the STK in Atlanta had horrible service. I originally requested a booth in my reservation, and was told once I got there that they couldn't give my party a booth just in case a larger party came in AFTER us because we had 4 people in our party and not 5. Also, the service was incredibly SLOW. I will not return to the STK in Atlanta. "

  • "I loved my experience at STK! food was pricey, but worth it and the service was impeccable!"

  • "Our waiter was friendly enough, but lost probably about $150 to the total of our bill by not asking if we wanted more drinks, and was no where to be found when we asked. At the end of dinner, he came by with free dessert as an 'apology' but didn't even offer coffee and left (disappeared) before we could ask. I have been to this one before, and also the ones in NYC and Vegas. I was very disappointed as we had family from Italy and wanted to make this an enjoyable experience. We didn't stick around to complain, we were too thirsty, so we went across the street for drinks and coffee"

  • "The service was good and the food was good, though the music was a little loud. Although we had not made reservations, when we arrived, we were immediately seated at a table. The server explained the menu very thoroughly with his own personal recommendations and our food was brought in a timely manner. He recommended getting one side per person and then splitting those sides, which was a great suggestion and meant the right amount of food for the two of us. Though it was the most I have ever paid for a meal, it was worth it for the experience."

  • "The place looks good, the food is good but the service is not the best. First when we arrived it took a while for us to get a table even though there were multiple staff in the front stand and multiple tables available. Our main course took a full hour from when we ordered it and it was two simple orders of steak. It was a bit troubling that they had certain specials and I chose one of the side specials. From a menu where sides are between $8-10ea I was shocked to see on my check that the special side for the day was $23! "

  • "The menu had a little of something for everyone, but please don't leave home without your wallet. The food was delicious, but there was a price for it. Other than that, the ambiance was very energetic, good music, and good service. But nothing stellar."
