A word from STK - Atlanta
STK artfully blends two concepts into one—the modern steakhouse and a chic lounge. A large central lounge area is furnished with creamy leather banquettes and textured crocodile tiles, and is surrounded by an elevated dining room for more formal dining. Theatrical lights illuminate each table, while a DJ creates an energetic vibe throughout the entire space. STK Atlanta is located at 1075 Peachtree Street in the heart of Midtown Atlanta. Executive Chef Jeremy Miller mans the kitchen of the two-story restaurant situated adjacent to the Loews Hotel. As anticipated, steak is the main attraction. With a female-friendly mindset, STK offers small, medium and large cuts of meat, as well as naturally raised options and market fresh fish entrees. Aside from steak, signature items include Parmesan Truffle Fries; Lil’ BRGs; Shrimp Rice Krispies; Sweet Corn Pudding; and Jump Lump Crab Salad.

  • "For the amount of money you pay for the food in this restaraunt the portions are ridiculous. My salad consisted of three pieces of spinach, one tomato and four pieces of crab. I had a reservation but I still had to wait thirty mins. My server was nice and the place is beautiful but I won't be returning."

  • "We really enjoyed the meal. The wine selections were decent and the wait staff very attentive. The music being piped into the restaurant area was a bit too loud, even though we both love music. It made conversation a bit challenging. Also, the little round two-tops are a bit cramped, once the table has entrees, a wine carafe and beverages."

  • "My friend was visiting from Miami and she wanted to check it out. We had a wonderful late birthday celebration for me. The food was amazing and the service was great. At the end of dinner I even got surprise bday treat from my server=) It was great to go with a friend but next time this would be a great choice for date night! It is pricey, but well worth the cost=)"

  • "I truly enjoyed dining at STK. The ambience was so romantic and the staff were very friendly. I ordered the 6 oz. filet medallion steak and it was cooked to perfection (I like mine medium rare). Also we ordered the almond fudge brownie dessert...there aren't words for how delicious it was. The only thing that was not so good was the macaroni and cheese. My date and I both ordered this side, and even with the added crab it did not taste good. We ended up switching it for the asparagus, which the staff was more than willing to substitute, and that was much better. Overall, we had a WONDERFUL experience and will definitely be returning."

  • "My wife and I were in Atlanta for the weekend and she recommended STK for dinner. She had been to STK in NYC and told me how great it was. Being a believer I made the reservations. We were met on our arrival by a hostess who could not be happier to see us and sat us promptly. The service was amazing from that point and never changed our waitress was knowledgeable and made great recommendations. The management stopped to check on us multiple times. Food was excellent and dessert was amazing. I have nothing but great things to say about this restaurant and experience. I hope you enjoy!"

  • "If you're looking for a place to see & be seen, this is your place. If you're looking for an excellent steak, keep looking. I grill better steaks, so it made paying $32 for a piece if meat seem silly. But if you don't know your way around a grill, go for it. $23 for mediocre lobster Mac & cheese is laughable. Our waiter was nice, but needs to lighten up. The upside is the hip interior and equally hip patrons. The drinks were good."

  • "We sat down and I was impressed with a cozy, trendy, table for two. We ordered a full course meal, but it was not up to standards of a four star restaurant. The salad was huge and mediocre at best, shrimp Rice Krispies had a sauce that was terrible for the dish...it seemed like it belonged on pasta. Entrees were just okay. Good music, and perhaps a better place for a cool bar scene. Food leaves much to be desired unfortunately!"

  • "I've been to STK twice. I've enjoyed the company I went with (colleagues, clients). But I've hated the restaurant itself. Two bad misses, I'm not going back. The concept is supposedly a steakhouse that's not as clubby as Bone's, Chops, etc. The idea is to be more accessible to women and others who might not like the leather-and-cigar feel of old-school steakhouses. The execution, however, is a total failure. They've brought in a DJ (complete with sunglasses indoors) and turned the restaurant into a nightclub. Now, I love good nightclubs--but not when I'm looking for a steak, a bottle of wine, and a relaxing evening. The volume of the music is enough to chase anyone away, as evidenced by the vast areas of empty tables and floor space."

  • "Came to celebrate my service anniversary & my boyfriend's promotion. We wanted a new, trendy spot with good food, cocktails, music & atmosphere. STK did not disappoint. The valet service & hostess were very friendly and professional. Once he arrived, the hostess seated us immediately. Our waitress was very knowledgeable of the cocktail & food menu & very pleasant. The service was impeccable, the food was fabulous from the shrimp rice krispies appetizer to the sirloin steaks (juicy and tender) to the creamy, sharp cheddar Mac and cheese, truffle Parmesan fries & creamed spinach. Everything was great! The donuts & bourbon pecan pie was too good! But we especially enjoyed the 80's music. We swayed, sang and rocked to the songs. Great nite!"

  • "My Sweetie and I made reservations and were pleasantly greeted. We waited only a few minutes and were escorted to our table prior to our reserved time. The waiter Alex was okay, but the food was excellent. I must say that the menu seem quite limited, but what is available is beyond great! The ambiance was exquisite! I will forewarn you that this place in somewhat expensive. If you're on a budget, this is NOT the place for you."

When we complained I was told that larger parties have priority over just 2. That is my only issue. Food was excellent atmosphere was amazing. All in all I would return, but would never make a reservation there again."

  • "Our waiter was far more interested in the table of 8 near us that he seemingly forgot about us. We got our entrees and then were told that the "chef didn't approve the quality of the sides" and that we had to wait for them, which was about 10 minutes. So we had cold entrees by the time the sides came. For a 40 dollar per person meal, you would expect more. The sides weren't even very good after all that, but I have to give them credit that the fish and steak was very well prepared."

  • "Classic overhyped, overpriced ($260 for 2) steak house of the kind that businessmen love to frequent. A $26 glass of wine, really? Butter, $2.00 extra, really? Music so loud and so bad, you would think you were eating at Backstreet. Save yourself a disappointment and just go back to Chops, Bones or even Houston's for heaven sakes. All types of folks in here. Everything from dressy to messy. They also completely ignored our Open Table reservation special request. It was our 10th anniversary and no one ever mentioned our anniversary. Not to mention the fact that our waiter Jarrett was self promoting to the point of being obnoxious. I hoped for a lot more out of this location, but was sorely disappointed."

This time I had the lobster Mac & cheese and it was great. If you visit this Atlanta location, request for Jarrett to be your server. He is excellent and really knows his stuff. I went there already knowing what I was going to order and took his suggestion instead... We were very pleased."

  • "The hostess was rude and very dismissive. This was our first time going to the restaurant and we unfortunately got caught in some major traffic coming thru downtown. We arrived about 15 minutes later than our reservation time and we were told that it wasn't their fault we got caught in traffic. Our reservation was deleted and we were placed on the "waiting list". After about 45 minutes and having to ask to speak to a manager, we were seated. the food took an hour to get to us even though we didn't order any appetizers and it was average at best. We left the restaurant feeling like we were over charged and under served. It was an experience we will not be volunteering for ever again."

  • "Just went to STK on Friday for my birthday. I had reservations and table wasn't ready but the manager brought my party a round of drinks at the bar while we waited. Then we were seated and everything was GREAT from there on. Food great. Drinks great. Server great. STK is Not cheap but worth every penny. Definitely will go again."

  • "Our waiter was very attentive and kept us informed of how long until our food would come out. The bread provided before our mealwas good. Our Filet came out and we tried it with the STK bold sauce. It was delish. It has a little kick of spice to it. The creamed spinach was soooo good. Favorite side. Mac n cheese was also very good. Great background music and atmosphere to top it off. Great spot. Would recommend to all my friends."

  • "I was looking for something special for our anniversary dinner. The decor was beautiful and the ambience good but the noise levels were way too loud. We had 3 courses and drinks and our bill was in excess of $240. The food was mediocre at best! Had I known I would have paid that much for food that wasn't that great. My husbands lamb and my filet medallion was dry (even though he ordered medium rare). The signature Parmesan truffle fries were cut so thick like miniature bricks, that it was like eating dense potatoes so you couldn't taste the truffle oil let alone the Parmesan cheese. The execution on the food was just poor. To add insult to injury the wine serving per glass was less than 200ml for $15? Just a very disappointing experience"
