"Here's my opinion...I ordered the ribeye with bone in. For a $48 steak, I expected better. The problem was the steak was a poor cut of meat. Too much fat, a little bit of gristle, and too little muscle. Seasoning was average too. For the price, Fogo do Chao is a much better deal. The meats (especially the house special Picana) served at Fogo far exceed Steve Field's ribeye. The mixed vegetables that accompanied the steak were cooked with way too much oil.The stuffed lobster wasn't special. Just a lot of stuffing and not a whole lot of lobster tail.The key lime pie was very very good. If I were to return to Steve Field's, it would be to order the key lime pie. Most likely I won't be returning to this restaurant."

"Third visit to Steve Fields. Great service, nice atmosphere, but ... while the food is actually worth a better rating in terms of taste and quality, two of these three visits resulted in my guest's filet being sent back, then sent back again. I'm not sure what part of "medium well" is so difficult to understand. And I don't mean undercooked, but there are degrees of undercooked - what was first brought out was RARE, not even close to medium. Most frustrating."

"We loved the lighting and the mood music at Steve Fields. The ambiance was the best part of the experience. My maple scallops were very unique and quite good. My side order of king crab was just ordinary and not particularly meaty. My wife was not completely pleased with her pecan encrusted trout. She thought it was a bit dry.

We were so excite about going to Steve Fields we forgot about the specials that were advertised. Our fault for not remembering to ask or order them. Our server, Ashely, did not offer to tell us about the specials at all.

None of the negatives will keep us from returning to try Steve Fields again. we look forward to our return trip."

"Steve Fields always knows about our Open Table reservation, and has never failed to fulfill any special requests mentioned there. Our favorite waiter, Chris, is very attentive, very friendly, has a very professional manner, knows his menu inside and out, and keeps our water glasses filled during the entire meal. The Sunday prime rib is wonderful, and the chef's filet is my favorite. Don't see a steak size you want? Just ask. The kitchen knows how to make a perfect bernaise sauce - warm and creamy, with no separation. And the carrot cake was absolutely decadent, both in taste and size. We visit Steve Fields often, we always ask for Chris, and we have always been pleased - never a disappointing trip to Steve Fields."

"Very nice birthday dinner for my wife. Accompanied by our 10 year old daughter, I thought the restaurant was kid friendly and she really enjoyed her meal."
