The service was over the top as they worked together to accommodate our needs and a special thanks to our server Laura. I choose the special Pan Seared seafood and it was cooked to perfection. My dining partners were equally impressed. Though looking forward to the famous blueberry pie, it was not in season yet. It was fortunate that we had an Open Table reservation for 7:30; it is regrettable that we earned no dining points for our reservation!!! The service is attentive, the food is tasty, and the prices are high. It is best not to go on a weekend from May through September. Nevertheless, Steve & Cookie's is a great place in the summer because there is a farmer's market on Thursday mornings in July and August. The homemade blueberry pie is the best dessert during the summer. The music was excellent, classics not overwhelming the setting and food. Lew London is a master of guitar and stringed instruments with a sweet voice and is accompanied by a talented pianist.
Our food was perfect. Really. A rare 5 star award from us. We had bouillabaisse and crab cakes and these were as fine as one could imagine.The beet salad was spot on. Attentive service and comfortable ambiance finish the picture.

The restaurant also made special dessert dishes for the two occasions we were celebrating. We all loved it and we're so happy to dine there. Steve and Cookies is our favorite restaurant. It is certainly comparable to any fine NY or Phila. restaurant. The decor and ambiance is soothing. The menu is diverse with new specials and additions offered. The wait staff is always professional. George, the bartender is extremely knowledgable and makes inventive and amazing cocktails. Cookie is a gracious and friendly host. There is lovely jazz piano every night. Four dining rooms, one large with a view of the bay , a cheerful bar area with booths, and an intimate dining room with a fireplace, and another smaller bar in a cozy dining room also with a fireplace .
