The food is superbe. Itd an nice environment to dine in peace while enjoying quiet conversations. Being our first visit, the owner took us on a tour of the establishment including his impressive cellar. This was a nice touch from the management of the business. We ordered the table d'hote which is always a great selection of food. The soup of the day was delicious, which was followed by a red beet salad for myself and escargots for my husband. The salad was incredible...the dressing left me searching for it online! My husband did not stop talking about how incredible the escargot were. We both ordered the fillet mignon which was phenomenal. This restaurant was made to offer steaks and they cook it to PERFECTION. The service is also very good with very attentive staff. No hovering, just perfectly timed service. I had the filet mingnon rare and the meat was grilled to perfection. The side vegetables of stacked squash, eggplant, zucchini, pepper and tomato was delicious. I was only a little disappointed with the mashed potato. It was a little cold and flavourless. The ambiance is great (it is a beautiful venue), and there was live entertainment (a keyboard player singing some old standards) which added beautifully to the experience.
