Especially noteworthy was the attitude of the waitstaff. The service was just impeccable. Our waiter, Melvin, was one of the best we ever had. He was knowledgeable, pleasant, eager to please, willing to make some substitutions (because of allergies). It makes such a big difference when the staff is outstanding. We will be back again, because it is a rare restaurant that combines perfect service to great food (with a nice atmosphere, of course. The food, decor and service were outstanding. Stefane and his son Roman were greeting every guest as if it was their home. We had various fish dishes. The Bouillabaisse and Bonzini were awesome. Salmon was also very nicely done. The waiter was extremely helpful and attentive. The maitre d Marcel was gracious and welcoming. Even the valet parker was extremely welcoming, well groomed and projected a pride as a representative of this fine restaurant. This is "the place" to go to enjoy an intimate evening with friends and great for couples and any celebratory milestone. Finally, a reason in Boca to step our of the gates. Our waiter was very knowledgeable and friendly and helped to make this a memorable experience. My mom's friend, who is 96 years old, said it was the best lunch he had ever had! Quite a glowing compliment, I thought! The mussels are the best I have ever eaten. The food and service were excellent. Whenever there was a question about the menue, an expert came to the table to assist. We started with bar-bites and drinks at the bar. The happy hour prices and the outstanding bar bites were absolutely excellent. The tastes and presentations of the bar-bites were excellent. The bartender was helpful in recommending dishes and drinks to match. The blue point oysters are my favorite as an appetizer and were chilled to perfection and melted in your mouth. The bone-in ribeyes and salmon were perfectly cooked and delicious. When we walked into the restaurant we were immediately greeted by the owner of the restaurant --Stephane. We had a delightful conversation with him before being seated.
Once seated, my wife commented on the elegance of the decor -- the main color themes are white and black -- with red accents. There is a beautiful flower centerpiece in the middle of the main dining room. Our server was Paul -- he is professional and friendly --and was always there at the right time. It's a hidden treasure in Boca behind Macaroni Grill off Military or if you are traveling East on Glades on the left passed the mall. It is our third visit and the food and service still have been excellent. The only reason I didn't rate the ambiance 5 stars is because in spite of being a chic classy location; they joined the terrible trend of having televisions playing throughout your dinner. They're placed over the bar so even if you sit in the absolute farthest table possible; you'll still be distracted by them. Even if you face away from them, all of the mirrors and glass will ensure they're in your field of vision. Very nice place otherwise. I read some other reviews that criticized the service.
