This was a nice spot for a good lunch before going to the Jungle Theater on a Sunday afternoon. The setting was perfect on a beatiful day, the Bloody Marys were excellent, and the fish was delicious. I shall return.

The food and service were outstanding. The price for a meal here is a splurge for me so I would prefer if the noise level were lower. It is hard to carry on conversation in a normal voice and hearing people on the other side of the table was difficult. I don't like that your Noise level scale has 3 ratings and there is nothing listing "too Loud" - going up the scale it goes to "Energetic" which implies something very positive.

Located in nice part of Minneapolis, however, food was standard quality and over priced. Calamari was over breaded as well as the walleye and over cooked. The wait staff didn't seem interested in 2 of the 5 main entree's ordered being brought out cold. I would not recommend this restaurant for true seafood lovers.

We have been to Stella's many times and my husband wanted to come here for his birthday dinner with our family. I made a reservation well in advance on OpenTable and requested an outdoor table. Unfortunately, they do not take reservations for outdoor tables and we were seated inside. This would have been fine except the table was right at the entry to the open kitchen....not good ambiance. It was loud with lots of foot traffic going in and out of the kitchen. Our server was great, however, appetizers did not come out together, nor did my Poke and Ceasar Salad. There should be a way to coordinate raw bar with kitchen so all can eat together.

Had the jambalaya which was tasty but very spicy so beware! Salmon and scallops were good but they weren't terribly warm. Same thing happened last time we were there. Halibut and steak was tasty but Luke warm. That would be my only complaint. Wish they could get the food out before it gets cold. Had it happen sitting in all levels of the restaurant. Waitress was great!

We had seven for dinner. Each had a variety of appetizers to share. Oysters were excellent and also the calamari. The dinners arrived and two out of the seven missed the grade. The salmon was order to be well done and it came very under cooked. The other meal that missed was the halibut. Not very tasteful, and the broccoli was hardly cooked. The server offered to fix it right by bring out a dessert. Manager also offered dessert. Sorry we do not eat desserts. We just wanted a good meal. We will try again but definitely need to see an improvement.

Love the happy hour selections! The food was great. Didn't care too much for the ribs though. I've had better at other places. Service is pretty good. However, this time we had to ask for the happy hour menu since it wasn't given to us. I don't think a customer should have to request a menu.

I hosted a surprise birthday dinner for my fiance and it was great! The vibe/atmosphere was perfect, not too quiet and not too loud. The food?? Goodness gracious, AMAZING!!! The scallops, coconut shrimp w/homemade cocktail sauce and spicy pineapple marmalade, skillet hashbrowns (A MUST for leftover breakfast!!!), jalapeno cornbread, crunchy shrimp roll, jambalaya, asparagus, seafood pasta, and chicken wings (these were perfectly crunchy, but definitely need some seasoning!) were all PERFECT!!! The prices were a bit high, especially in relation to the portion sizes, but the food was good nonetheless. Unfortunately I never did catch our server's name, but she was GREAT! She made sure to always check on us. I definitely recommend Stella's!

Had reservation and on arrival was asked if we wanted in or outside seating. We opted for out and proceeded to the roof only to find out that our reservation meant nothing out there. Hoatess led us to believe we would be seated right away and now it's a long wait. After a lot of back and forth with the manager we sat inside and had a great dinner with great service, although there was an issue with no substitutions that was another wrinkle in the experience. Scallops were fabulous.

My family goes to Stella's a few times a year. We usually go for a special occasion or when family is in town. I've never been disappointed with Stella's great food and service! This time I had a Groupon for the lobster bake; I took my boyfriend who was visiting from the navy. We got drinks and calamari on the rooftop before, and decided to have our meal up there. The wine was okay, not great. The lobster bisque soup, however; was very good! The salad was average and the lobster was cooked perfectly. It came with shrimp and muscles, which were also very good. We enjoyed our evening. Love Stella's!

I ordered the Lobster and it was great. The garlic mashed potatoes were tasty as well. My husband had the parmesan crusted halibat and thought it was very good. We waited 20 minutes for our dessert to come as they only had one person staffed on a Sat. Night. Otherwise, it was a fun sitting outside on there patio which overlooked the city on a nice evening!

I made the reservation through your site & then followed up with a phone call to request a table on the roof top, which the staff member confirmed. Upon arrival, 20 minutes early, was informed by the hostess that they don't reserve rooftop tables. But, we could go up and put our name in. Which we did and were told we were 17th in line. We left, vowing never to return.

The roof top is great for the summer. We had a great time sitting up top and the strawberry basil martini I had was fantastic. The scallops with the avocado rice dish was just okay. The scallops didn't have a great flavor. I love scallops, but my taste buds weren't liking them. The avocado rice dish on the side was good, however.

My drink (the Uptown) was tasteless/watery. Waiter offered to get me something else but said the bartender was rather new. Instead we 'doctored' it up until it was 'OK;. One entree was the Coconut Shrimp and was quite sub-par; similar to what you might expect at a much lesser establishment. The fish tacos were cold; potatoes and asparagus were cold on the fish entree plates. Bottom line: It was a high ticket price for a disappointing dinner.

I made a reservations and specified in the comment that I wanted to be rooftop, but when I arrived I was told you cannot make reservations for the rooftop so we had to wait about 45 minutes for a table for 4 because there was 15 people ahead of us. It was pretty annoying, and majority of the hostesses are rude and "busy" on their phones. But the waitresses are always great.

As always, best champagne mussles ever! Sunday night might have been the worst service there yet (I come at least once a month). We were seated on the patio and the hostess up on top was so out of it and was texting on her phone the whole time (we were seated right next to the host station). Our server was so dissapointing. I asked for a refill on water and got it 30+minutes later, she came to our table only to take our orders, and bring the bill. It took a long time to get our food and get our bill. I will continue to come back because the food is so good, but the service was not up to par.
