The place was redecorated since we were there last, and it looks terrific. We had mussels in red, and the mussels were large and delicious. We were in early and out before it got too noisy. The decor inside is beautiful, and our waiter was polite, attentive & easily made suggestions for us (we were stuck between two small plates). The food was amazing! Everything was cooked to perfection, and we enjoyed every last bite. I would highly suggest the filet - it practically melts in your mouth!3/23/2013 12:00:00 AMMid Week Hot SpotDinned on a Wednesday night and enjoyed everything. We sat down stairs early before the 7 PM crowd arrived. One of us ordered the Tomato Bisc soup and the other Baby Arugula salad. The soup was a large serving and the salad was wonderful. We ordered the Veal Marsala and the Filet with lobster mashed potatoes. Both were well prepared, presentable and delicious. We finished the evening with desert which we thoroughly enjoyed. The wine list was very fair and appealing. We appreciated Chris and Waitress- in-training the lovely Catlin. The food and service was great for a small restaurant and we would recommend that anyone in the area try it. We will be back when back in the area.2/28/2013 12:00:00 AMVery ImpressedWe were very impressed by Stella Blu. We ate there with 2 adults, an 11 year old, and a 3 year old. Although they do not have a kids' menu, they were able to make a smaller portion of pasta for my 3 year old. Service was excellent - our waiter was friendly, explained the menu and helped with the wine selections.
The three (adult) meals were all excellent:
Coffee filet mignon, which had a great rub and was cooked perfectly.
Scallops - which were very sweet and accompanied by a corn risotto.
Veal Spiedini - Veal wrapped with Prosciutto and Mozzarella on Spaghetti. It was ordered by my 11 year old and may have been the tastiest dish we ate.
