It has went from an average restaurant with a fantastic view to AWESOME! Started in the bar. Had apps and drinks both done well. Although oysters eere sold out by 630?? Moved om to dinner. Another app the seafood fondue on bread bowl was great. We each had a wine flight. We tried a red and a white...both decent...dinner was great. Also had wedge which was wonderful flavors. The steak with bluecheese and mashed potatoes spinach and port wine reduction is a killer combo ask med rare.
Too full for dessert. Beautiful view watching the sunset and loved how thoughtful the staff was. They made jokes, suggestions, and pulled up the blinds as the sun came down. Arrived on time for reservations and were seated immediately. Given table with great view.view. Food was excellent. I chose blackened salmon. My husband ordered Jumbalaya. We were both very pleased. Having said that, brunches are not easy to pull off, and this one was outstanding. The variety and quality of the food was excellent. My only suggestion would be to get the food a little bit hotter. Much of it was just warm. But the cook to order offerings were hot and amazing! The food was delicious and good portions. The bartender Tim and Shelly were amazing. Tim has created some fantastic drinks. Tiffany was our waitress and she was fantastic. The overall staff was great and very attentive. I would go back today if I lived near. You cannot beat the Fish and Chips, . . . and for that matter, everything on the menu is memorable. We love it here. We live three hours north of hear in San Jose and our son and lives three hours south of here in Pasadena. It's a great place to meet and enjoy a reasonable meal with a fantastic view.
