Fantastic food. They have a variety of homemade teas. I would recommend the mussels (you can ask for some toast to dip into the sauce), the gnocchi and the crepes. Everything was great.

This place was overpriced, the food was objectively bad (especially given the options in the neighborhood), and the service was downright rude. (Our waiter sneered at us openly and then added a 20% tip to the bill - even though no such policy was posted at the restaurant.) Really, this place is quite awful. It seems built to capture unknowing folks coming off the subway from manhattan to spend a saturday afternoon in Williamsburg.

I went to Station for brunch on Sat 11/8. I knew they had a 'no seating till your whole party arrives' policy, so was happy to wait for my friend at the bar. When she arrived, we were seated by the door, which kept being left open as new people arrived, bringing a freezing gust of wind every 2 minutes. I asked to move to a different table and was told rudely that they were all reserved (we had a reservation!) and that, if my friend had been on time, we would've had a better table. The food could've saved the day, but alas. Our pancakes were limp and flat, and we were still hungry afterwards. Worst I've had in NYC and at $14, not cheap. The check arrived as soon as our plates were cleared. If we wanted anything else, they didn't care.

We arrived on time for our reservation the girl said, "Great! wait, didn't I just seat you?". I don't know what happened... I just know I ended up waiting 30 minutes for a table when I had a reservation set in advance. When we finally got a table the service AND kitchen were slow. The food was good. Nothing groundbreaking... but a decent brunch. I wouldn't come here again if I had any sort of time constraints on my day though.

Arrived for our 10:00 a.m. Sunday brunch reservation about 2 minutes to 10:00. The waitress seemed surprised to see us as she was in the midst of eating her breakfast. Although I mentioned that we had reservations she did not check and I reminded her after the meal had arrived that we had made our reservation through Open Table. The food was o.k., nothing out of the ordinary - I had blueberry pancakes (2) and my husband the eggs with salmon and cream cheese on the side. The bill came to just over $40, which included a glass of juice and a cup of coffee and tea. We ate outside, which I think was the better place to be as it was crowded and noisy inside. I don't think I would return based on their brunch menu.

We dined here just a few weeks ago. We started with the Lobster Sliders as an appetizer. They were excellent. The lobster was cooked perfectly and a very generous portion. For the main meal, I had the Sirloin (grass-fed) which came with a variety of vegetables and potatoes. The steak was cooked to medium perfectly (as I requested) and was an excellent cut of steak – tender, moist, and not overly fatty. My wife had the Salmon. She said it was very good. We accompanied the meal with a really good cabernet. There wine selection was very good and they also served some very unique cocktail creations. Service was very good; attentive but not excessive. We will definitely be back to dine here.

We has a 2:45 reservation on Sunday and were seated at 3. The waiter came over to tell us thy were out of bloody marys. 5 mins later they were out of homefries. The frazzled waiter came back and could not answer any questions about the menu. We placed our order. 10 mins later the table next to us complained that no one had taken their order in 1/2 hr. he told them there were problems in the kitchen and food would not be out for at least 1 hr. We were not told that so I called the manager over who said that our food would be atleast another hour- scrambled eggs! We left after being there for 1 1/2 hours with no food.

When we walked up for our reservation, the host said "I don't know why you were allowed to make a reservation on Open Table... we are busy." After waiting for a bit, we were seated. Half of our table received their food and half 90 minutes later. Nobody approached us to apologize for explain. I had to suggest that we get something to munch on so the half that got their food didn't get cold; they did provide us with fries. Their bread on the lobster roll was stale, and the whole feeling of the kitchen (which you can see) was that they were all confused and disorganized. We walked in at 2:30 and finally left at 5:00. For the money we paid, it was a pathetic experience.

We had a large party of 8, so we made reservations, which was nice they took reservations and our table was ready when we arrived, which was also nice. Then it goes downhill. We waited over an hour for our food - how long does it take to cook eggs? My friend waited 30 minutes for tea after asking 3 times. Another friend ordered the club, but was just brought a chicken sandwich. I have a dairy allergy and specified that I could not have cheese, then after serving me my sandwich without cheese, which the server stated did not have cheese, half way through eating it i realized it did have cheese melted all over it. I then asked for one with out cheese and they just brought me chicken on a piece of bread. This place is off my places to go.

I went to the station for lunch at the end of afternoon. I ordered and my entree arrived very quickly despite a full restaurant. The mussels were excellent and fresh. The taste was the same as the ones I eat in the south of France near the sea The music is different from that of other restaurant. It's very eclectic, with a mix of French and American music from the 60s. There is a vintage atmosphere, maintained by the decor, the smells, the street and the muique. I would gladly go back.

I came to Station for a late lunch with friends on a weekday. The venue is really nice with brick walls and an open kitchen. We came in late, but we were seated right away even if our party wasn't entirely on time. The waiter came to ask if we wanted anything to drink while waiting for the last one. He then gave us the menus with suggestions of his own. The service was quick and friendly. The food we ordered was really fresh and tasty which was great for a late lunch. We took a little bit of everything to share so I can tell you that everything I tasted was delicious. I will definitely be back with friends. So many reasons to be back.

Our food ended up being really great at Station -- the only problem was our really inept waitress. She didn't know the answer to any of our questions, it took her so long to come back with answers that we'd forgotten what we asked, she forgot to enter one of our entrees so the whole table ended up waiting to start to eat their hot food with hardly an apology or an offer of a free drink to make up for the mistake. Overall, maybe ordering out from them would be good, but the eat-in experience was a bust.

The menu at Station is a ton of fun and conducive to people sharing and interacting. The restaurant had barely any people in it when I went and I had to wait 15 mins before I was asked if I wanted a drink. Then the waiter messed up my order and only brought my appetizer. The entree I was very much looking forward to (black truffle mac n cheese gnocchi) but at that point I wanted to leave. The second glass of wine I got was bad and I needed to send it back. I may give it another try as my experience was as bad as it was solely because of our waiter.

We had a lovely morning at Station on Sunday with great weather and great food. The open restaurant with inside/out dining made for a great way to enjoy an amazing meal. The French Toast looks a little shocking at first (you'll know when you see it) but oh how it's worth the wait. The fruit inside combined with the candied walnuts make it absolutely heavenly. Our family ordered a variety of things, but we all were eating off my French Toast. Thank you for making a Mother's Day brunch special.
