A great menu with a variety of interesting dishes that were all full of flavor. This standard extends to the sides. There is something for everyone. If I had to pick a stand-out, I would crawl over broken glass for the charred octopus appetizer. The wine list was good with a range of price points available, even for wines available by the glass. The wine list is equaled by the beer list. I'm not really a cocktail person, but the Moscow Mule was a refreshing way to start a spring evening. Service staff were pleasant, friendly and knowledgeable, and food delivery was well-timed. I didn't select the kid-friendly box since overall it didn't seem that type of place, but the service staff and the kitchen were very kind to our young daughter.

Station 4-What a find! How great it is to have a serious restaurant near Arena Stage. The fine cuisine, hip atmosphere and near hot spot status is emblematic of the resurgent South West/Washington Harbor neighborhood.

I had a reservation, and they had a table ready for me right away. I had purchased a 30% off coupon from opentable. Service was super slow. The place was not that busy. Our waitress was doing double duty waiting tables and also bartending. When she finally did come over she was very nice and responsive. My order was put in - I got a Station 4 pizza, and I had to wait a very long time for the food to come out. The only thing holding me over was the bottomless mimosas. So the pizza was not as tasty as I thought it would be. It was well made but I expected it was bland. When the check came, they had not "discreetly" applied the 30% discount. So after a few minutes of back and forth the discount was finally applied.

The food was bland and overpriced. The menu tries for some "cool" twists on classics, but the restaurant seems to have forgotten to focus on the flavor of the food. The patio is pleasant.

Ive been here a few times and I really want to love this place because it is one of few places in the area and I live in SW but honestly its just ok. It really just doesn't knock my socks off. If you want a good bite to eat its fine for that but if you compare it to all of the GREAT restaurants we have here in DC its just alright. Brunch is probably the best thing they offer.

The huevos rancheros was quite good and the French toast was just fine. I would have preferred the fruit to be on the side instead of all over the French toast. The service was poor; I ran out of water and did not get a refill until we had asked for our check. The restaurant was only half full.
