  Heidi's deserves more attention in the Twin Cities food scene. The food is outstanding. We had the 4-course meal with the steelhead trout. Each course mixed familiar flavors with a subtle twist. The broth in which the salmon was braised was complex and yet comforting - a wonderful soup in and of itself and not just a background to the salmon. The restaurant interior is hip and gorgeous. I prefer the wine list to the cocktails at Heidi's - better accompaniment to the carefully crafted food....More

  Creative combinations. Excellent options whether you like meat, seafood, or vegitarian. Attentive and knowledgable service w/o constant interruptions. We did the fixed price three course dinners. I thought the serving sizes were done very well. My sirloin was big enough to leave me satisfied without leaving me bloated. We were looking for top quality food in an informal setting and Alma proved to be perfect....More
