  Cafe Sole is perfect for a cozy meal off the beaten path in Key West. The food is always delicious and the wine list is exceptional. Our server, Mike, was very knowledgeable, both of the wine list and the menu, making excellent suggestions. He really took the time to discuss the menu with us & answer our questions. The menu is mainly seafood, their specialty being the hog fish. I do not eat seafood and had the skirt steak...it was amazing, so tender and seasoned perfectly. The other members of our party had the hog fish and raved. Our only complaint was that there was no music playing, hence the 3-star rating for Ambience. Other than that, an excellent meal with excellent service....More

  First time trip to this restaurant, recommended to us by the front desk of our guest house in Key West. Seating varies, but the prime spots are on the front porch along Duval Street, allowing for pleasant dining and a good view of passing crowds as others tour the island. Wine was excellent, and we made a note to try to find it when we get home. The food was also very good and filling. We'll very likely make a return trip next time we visit the Keys. Definitely recommend a reservation, as they appeared to be only modestly busy during our dinner time of 7:30, but by 8:30 every table was full....More
