"Have dined here a number of times. Service is often slow to order but once the food is ordered it picks up. Little or no personality with staff each time. Food quality is too good not to overlook this and go back."

"I would consider Star Anise to be an authentic high-end Thai restaurant with very reasonable food and wine prices. Everything about it is genuine. The service, the food, the ingredients are all thoughtfully substituted and very close to what you would find in Thailand. The food dishes are very fresh and beautifully presented."

"They had just one waiter for Valenine's Day. Took 20 minutes just to ge the waiter to our table. Food was good but not hot when they finally brought it. Not a great first time visit! Most likely will never return."
