  • "Signing up for their card is very easy to do and gives you great kickbacks at times. There is a nice variety on the menu for irregular visits to the restaurant. I don't go more than once a month, so it works out for me. Aside from the challenge of providing the salmon at the right level of doneness (my earlier one was overcooked and dry) they do well with their presentation and right amount of cooking. They are more than happy to make you happy if you don't like how your food comes out, which is nice, though it means your spouse ends up finishing earlier than you; a minor detail. The service is always very friendly and attentive. We had fun with the recent mystery cards you got for a bit that gave a percentage off for your next meal."

  • "You get what you expect from a typical chain restaurant. On my open table reservation, I requested a table near a window, because they love to sit couples in the middle of the restaurant. The middle is very dark and very noisy when they are busy due to a head cook shouting out dinners for the staff to begin preparing. Little upset that they didn't honor my request for a window seat. It will be a while before we head back to their restaurant."

  • "We had made reservations via Open Table the day before. We walked into the restaurant and it was packed with a very long waiting list. Thank goodness we used Open Table. All we had to do was walk up to the hostess and give our names. She promptly checked us in and went to check on our table. Max wait was 5 mins. It was awesome!!"

  • "We have been to Stanford's many times and really enjoy it, food is always good and overall it's always well worth it. The last two times we've been there the service has been not good at all. I don't know if the server was too busy, (staffing issue), or the server was just not that good, (server issue). Both times it was the same server so we are thinking it's the latter. We will go back cause usually Stanford's had always been good, but unfortunately this last time was my wife's birthday dinner so we were kinda bummed out."

  • "How long does it take to towel off a wine glass before filling it? Host spent more time with his nose in the computer than greeting guests. The lobby quickly filled to blocking access to the restrooms. Prime rib was easily 20% fat! Mashed potatoes were mortar-like. Kudos to whoever put together the salad. Manager did not know how to handle my mentioning that this was our 20th wedding anniversary. Overall, not planning on returning in the near future. Seems like corporate is not interested in meeting my needs. There are better values for my money being offered by local businesses. Got a rather large list of options from my fellow lab-rats when I told them about the evening and the final bill amount."

  • "My wife and I celebrate the anniversary of our first date here every year. We enjoy the ambience and the memories and that is what makes it a repeat location. We have found the food to be hit and miss. This most recent visit found much of the meat only warm and the butter didn't even melt on our baked potatoes, but we have fun. We will continue come back, annually, but it will likely not be a more frequent stop."

  • "We had reservations for 7:15. We had an appetizer, salad, some delicious martinis and waited on our dinner. Unfortunately, it didn't arrive until around 8:40. We had to get it to go so we could pick up the kiddo. Our server was very attentive and continuously checked on us and our food. To apologize for our very late meal, the restaurant offered to give us desserts to go or comp our dinner. I would never have expected this, but it put the final touch on our experience. I know that sometimes things happen, but I'm admittedly not always so understanding. It was the way it was handled that won us over. In the end, we had a great time talking over a couple of drinks and enjoyed each others company in a cozy atmosphere. That's a win in my book."

  • "Always good to know there's a seamless, foolproof spot for romantic dining not far away from home. After taking in a flick at the Evergreen, we ran over to have a late dinner. Being a vegan, the menu was mostly for my wife, who ordered the prime rib. I had a portobello on a bun. She had a wonderful smoky, casky Cab which perfectly complemented the steak. Our server was very attentive, even finding a pair of readers when my wife realized she forgot her glasses. The chefs are the best-and when leaving, it's always fun to stop and let them know how much we appreciate their efforts. Ehe experience was, as always, very enjoyable."

  • "We came to enjoy a bowl of soup. (They have a few AWESOME soups) All are made from scratch, but you need to call ahead or memorize which ones are served on each day of the week. We went on a Wed.. The soup choices did not entice me. But, what I ordered instead was still very good. Also, the bar is nice and the two middle sections of booths have great ambiance. But we brought our daughter with us so no bar and we were seated in the back room. Noisy with little kids. So no big points for ambiance this time. They also have a very nice outdoor dining area avail. in the summer. As always, service is the best."

  • "The last two dining experiences have been disappointing. Both times were for a special occasion with my parents We all agreed these were not good experiences. The first bad experience they had prime rib on the menu and after both my husband and father were delivered this slab of tough meat we discovered (from the manager) that they didn't actually have a full prime rib in the kitchen but they served "slices" that had been frozen and then re-heated. The most recent episode was yesterday. Even with a reservation we were seated right next to the noisy servers station when there were many tables near us that were not occupied. There was also a draft over our heads. Food choices were few. We have ranked this restaurant as C-."

  • "I took my mother out for Christmas Eve dinner. The restaurant was beautifully decorated. The service however was sub par. I chalk it up to the server to patrons ratio. I paid $2.95 for a glass of soda pop and never received a refill. My mother had hot tea for $3.95 and never received a hot water refill. I would have asked however our server was not to be found. He stopped by our table once shortly after our food was served, again to ask if we wanted dessert and finally to present us with our bill. My mother had the salmon which she said was "fine." I had the prime rib (medium rare). It was warm at best and hard. The baked potato was good though. So for $29.95 I had a good baked potato. Not your finest hour, Stanfords."

  • "We had a wonderful dinner here the other day. I'm glad we made a reservation before going, it looked like several people were waiting for tables when we arrived. Our waitress was attentive without hovering. The food was excellent and served quickly. I'll definitely be dining there again. The only negative note is the parking, during the busiest hours the parking lot is completely full... there doesn't seem to be adequate parking in this area for the businesses that are already there and several more buildings are under construction."
