We had a wonderful meal and superb service - Alyssa was delightful and went our of her way for us. My only complaint was the seating. We were in a booth, which I normally prefer, but the seats were so close to the table, I found it almost claustrophobic. And everything was stationary, so there was no way to "slide back" after dinner. We were with a friend and wanted to spend time visiting. I was very uncomfortable after sitting there for an hour. Next time I will know to ask for a table!

Took my daughter and her significant other there for his birthday lunch. They were definitely impressed and can't wait to come back up from Salem to enjoy it again and try other dishes on the menu. Me? I've been a fan for quite awhile now, working up here in Lake Oswego it is my favorite lunch spot. Looking forward to the next lunch out!

This was our first visit to Stanford's and was pleasantly surprised and felt our waitress made our celebration special. The bartender also was accommodating in making my husband's cocktail to his specifications. I ordered the bread pudding for my dessert. Delish! Our waitress tried to write "Happy Anniversary" with the caramel sauce but it wasn't thick enough, so she opted for a sweet heart shape around my plate. Steak and lobster far more superior than any other chain restaurant.

We like to meet our friend at Stanford's as the food is usually good and they have kept the prices quite reasonable for the quality of dinner. We all ordered the 3/$35 and it was way too much food. Nice soup and dessert! Lobster was done is a very nice manner. Potatoes great, steak was bit tough but we are used to our own farm raised beef. Waitress was very nice and service was perfect.

Stanfords is an okay place for 'steak'. It's better than Outback. The food is okay but the prices are ridiculously high. The best thing is their half price bottles of wine on Wednesdays. noise level was high but acceptable.

I used my birthday points on this visit. The others had beer cheese soup and salad. I had the Kruse burger for the first time in a long time and a cup of beer cheese soup. Their beer cheese soup can't be beat. Others seem to be so week on the beer and cheese that the chicken stock base for the soup is really what is tasted. Stanfords put enough beret and cheese in that you can taste both. YUMMY! The Kruse burger was fantastic!

Service could not have been better -- Copper River salmon prepared perfectly. One of the best Caesar salads I've had in years. Be sure your hungry if you're going to have a salad and an entree. They don't just dump your food on the table and never come back, the server checks to be sure all is good w/o be intrusive and you don't feel like they're trying to sell sell sell. Very laid back...

Sadly our waitress (Alex) was more interested in the Indiana Braves hat wearing bartender. If not at the bar chatting him up (and us having to 'excuse me'...to another waitress for help), she was back-to-customers in the far hidden corner of bar, no joke for over 15 minutes! Gave our tip to the gal that actually helped us. Side note, the happy hour appetizers have almost doubled in price.

    Dined on 6/3/2014
As soon as I was notified that Stanford's had Copper River Salmon, I made a reservation through Open Table. When I called and learned that the supply was very limited, I move up the reservation by a day. I called the day of the reservation and learned that they only had 13 servings left. They agreed to hold two for my wife and me. When we arrived (after a 40+ mile trip), they only had 10 servings left. Our hostess had informed our waitress of our trip and she advised that we order quickly to ensure that we got our servings. The salmon was as good as we remembered, which was QUITE GOOD, and the personal attention was very flattering.

The ribs and steak we had were especially good today. We appreciate the ability to change to baked potatoes, too. This was a waitress we had never had before, and the service would have been spotty except that another waitress in the area noticed that our needs were going unmet and came back with water and ice tea refills.

We just celebrated an Easter brunch in Lake Oswego. I knew the food would be very good, and it certainly was. What I would like to praise is the excellent service we received in spite of the booked solid status of Stanford's that day. Our server, a gracious young man, was equally attentive to each member of our party: a five-year-old child, a senior citizen, and the mother of the child. I have dined here a few times over the years, and each time the service was superb!

My other experience with this Stanford's would have earned more stars, that's why we were eager to have brunch there. There were some large family groups there for brunch that impacted our service significantly. We had to wait a long time for everything. I even had to snag an employee other then our server to get the check and a take home box. The staff was obviously stretched too thin. One tries to be understanding about these things, but jeez, it's not like it was a surprise to the management that bigs groups as well as parties of 2 would be fulfilling their reservations. The food was good. The fresh fruit starter plate was ok. My boyfriend had a bacon cheeseburger that was very good. My smoked salmon benedict was yummy.
