Private Party Facilities: Stage Restaurant offers three options for private dining and events. The Cupola Theatre a state of the art venue transforms into a business lecture room, seated dinner space, movie theatre and more. Equipped with top AV equipment, event furniture and stage lighting with the capacity to hold over 170 people, the Cupola is perfect for any type of event. This space is like a blank canvas, you can make it chic and stylish, comfortable and cozy, industrial… whatever you picture, it can be done here. For a smaller networking event, singles night, birthday party or bachelor/bachelorette party, the Ice Bar on the 2nd floor of the HDC is just the place. The Ice Bar is fantastic for mixer style events, you can have your own bartender, play your own music, and dance in your own space. The 3rd floor outdoor terrace is one of Oahu's most urban and hip spaces around. This beautiful space overlooks the hustle and bustle of the city, yet tucked away from patrons and customers.

Getting there

Cross Street: Pensacola & Piikoi
Public Transit: Stage Restaurant is located on the 2nd floor of the Honolulu Design Center. Coming from Waikiki use bus routes #3 or #9. From downtown Honolulu use bus route #3, #9, #17 or #18. The bus stops on Kapiolani going both directions between Pensacola and Piikoi streets. The Honolulu Design Center is a distinctive contemporary orange building.
Parking: Private Lot
Parking Details: Convenient free covered parking.
The Honolulu Design Center main parking entrance is located on Piikoi Street. Take the first left turn after crossing Kapiolani Boulevard. A secondary entrance to the parking structure is available on Pensacola Street. Parking entrance is located on the left, last drive way before Kapiolani Blvd.
Pensacola may be closed without prior notice due to special parking arrangements for large events.

"My wife ordered Steak and Onion, meat was slight chewy but overall the wasabi sauce was okay. I ordered brisket short rib beef which I thought might need little more wine. It tasted more close to beef stew taste. Everything else was ok. I'm little sad that the Wafu Steak menu is gone."

"This was only my second time at Stage and I realized during this meal that it is easily one of the best places to eat on the island. Prior to this meal I might have given the top spot to either Roys in Waikiki or Morimotos, but the food and service were so good that the top honor might well belong here."

"Went to this restaurant for my anniversary and thought it was really nice. The service was great and our waiter was very helpful and attentive. Everyone was very friendly and that helped to elevate the status of our special occasion. The food came out very quickly and at the appropriate temperatures. I enjoyed the desserts the most and think they have a very good pastry chef. Next time I visit, I will be trying the amuse wine bar where you can sample the house wines and also order from the menu."

"Very good service; the team was always there to refill water/rolls and assist with presenting the food. And when we had a small problem with our appetizer, our server quickly fixed it with the kitchen. Our wine recommendations matched the food! Great job!"

"Service was excellent. Unfortunately, the back of the restaurant was very slow so it took about 40 minutes from the time we finished our appetizers to receiving our entrees. This would not have been so much of a problem, however, my son had to leave at a certain time to attend another event. I informed Kalen, our waiter, of this and he was very apologetic. The Manager also came by to apologize. Although it took awhile to receive our food, I would definitely return!"
