Three dining options: First, The original StageHouse Restaurant, offering fine dining in an elegant county inn setting. Built in 1737 this historic inn boasts many small dining rooms with a fireplace in each room. The Stage House Restaurant offers an ala carte menu every day. Next, The Tavern at… the Stage House, which serves up Rustic American fare in a more casual setting. Newly renovated with a new 35 seat bar, a cool little club house and the best Burger in Town. Lastly, The Patio at the stage house, which is a huge outdoor bar and dining room offering either menu. Reservations are only accepted for the fine dining restaurant, the others are first come first serve. Continued

"All three of us ordered the NY Sirloin steak and we all agreed, it was the best steak we'd had in ages. Our server was helpful and attentive without hovering. The meal was relaxed and unrushed. Would recommend your fine restaurant in a heartbeat."

"Although my reservation was for 6:30, they had no problem holding a table for 7:00. The wait staff did not rush us at all as we spent about 3 and a half hours at the table."

"Terrible service with terrible food. Waitress not friendly could care less about her customers. How can you mess up baked chicken and mashed potatoes? Duck was never described as on bone. Pinot Noir wine was bad had to ask for a different wine. We are very unlikely to have a return visit to this restaurant"

"So loud (unable to carry on conversation) and the service was spotty - 2 entrees (out of 6) were delivered much later than everyone else. Other than that, the food was good."

"We reserved for 6 and asked for a quiet table for some business talk and that was very cheerfully honored. Extremely friendly staff. Savvy bartender. Very prompt but not obtrusive service. Good bean soup,an excellent tuna (no roll please) on a very tasty, very fresh and very interesting salad. I wish the dessert menus had been circulated instead of our just being asked, but that's a very minor irritation. Very reasonably priced. The new management has clearly improved this old stand-by, and they buy their hamburger from John's! Just an extremely comfortable place to be. They really have their act together."

"We found this to be a little gem. Rustic, warm and cozy with a fireplace. Great Resturant.Not overly expensive. Has a well balanced menu and the food was very good."

"Nice country feel. The food was okay, ordered a salad with goat cheese & chicken and it was over $20....little pricey! My husband got the ribs, they looked good. Nice server. Nice ambiance."
