The tech for the drink/dessert menu on the iPad was a nice touch and provided a vibrant description of each item with color photos and verbiage that would be tough to include in a printed menu. I had the Brooklyn filet which was cooked perfectly and melted off the bone. The adult tater tots was one side and there was certainly more brie than bacon, which appeared to be nonexistent. Tasty still, but no bacon to be found."

  • "Based on reviews I decided to test the Stack to find out if it could be used for one of my many meetings in Las Vegas. Sadly the answer is definitely no. The food was OK, but nothing special. The price however was way above what I would normally pay for quality. Don't get me wrong, I knew the price before I ordered, but I was expecting more in terms of quality. The noise level in the restaurant was awful. It would be impossible to conduct a meeting over dinner as I could barely hear what the staff said, let alone a person sitting right next to me. The restaurant felt over staffed as there were staff everywhere. The staff though didn't seem competent in the price bracket. The waiter serving me was unable to recommend something from the menu."

  • "We went before a 7:00 show, so it was early. We liked our waiter. He understood my dietary restrictions. But the chef was unable to accommodate me with anything more than plain food, so I was disappointed. Other restaurants have been able to come up with something I could eat that wasn't boring. I know this is Vegas, but for the price, I should have gotten this. Plus, i ordered a specialty martini. The description for it gave no indication it was sweet and it had had little or no alcohol in it. I almost sent it back and realized I should have when I saw the bill and it was $19.00. My husband's meal was good but nothing to rave about."

  • "I love the fact that this restaurant has round tables so if you want to go with a group of more than six, you can all talk and see each other. The NY strip was amazing. One of the best steaks I have ever had. The sides were great too. Order the mushrooms, you can eat them right out of the plate."

  • "Server did a good job telling us they were primarily a steakhouse but offered some seafood selections as well, I was excited to try the steak 16 oz New York Strip, medium rare. Totally disappointed when it arrived well done after a 45 minute wait, did not enjoy eating after the rest of my party had finished. If you call yourself a steakhouse do steak right !!!!"

  • "We went to Stack on the recommendation of my sister in law, for the 24oz tomahawk rib eye steak and the cold seafood platter. The first thing I noticed when we arrived is the noise level not only the crowd noise but the music level, more of a night club setting. The table next to us was so close that I could eat off of their plates. The 24oz steak was probably 18oz with the bone, 3/4 inch thick. Not a very impressive steak for $62.00, the seafood platter for 2 included 4-oysters, 2-shrimp, 2- 2 inch pieces of crab, and 1- 3 inch 3oz lobster tail for $50.00. The food was good, but for the money I don't want to here the table next to me. There are many much nicer restaurants in Las Vegas. Spend your time and money some where different!!"

  • "Really loved the food and service. i was actually expecting this place to be a "lesser quality" experience, but was I blown away! The mini-crab tacos and buffalo wings were off the hook! The steak and seafood was on par with any other fine dining establishment but was solid. I'd probably enjoy just coming back for small-plate apps and some vino. Highly recommend!"

The bench seating arrangement is really annoying because the tables are close together. We were close to the table next to us that their conversation of four overcrowded our intimate space of two."

  • "Our food was delicious. My filet was cooked to perfection, but the scallop potatoes were undercooked. Some of them were still quite hard. My boyfriend had the sea bass and he enjoyed it very much. The drinks were very pricey, though. $24 (top shelf) and $16 (regular) for a Long Island iced tea. We had the donuts for dessert and they were yummy. The service was great. We would definitely go again when in town."

  • "The staff was personable and friendly, they were able to answer all the questions my wife and I had. The food was pretty good, however my steak was a bit tough. It was very flavorful , and a good size. When you pay $50 for a steak you just expect a bit more. That said - My wife and I did try the oysters Rockefeller, those were great. I would go back just for those, by far the best in town!"

  • "I ordered the salmon and it was good but the side of sautéed spinach was not my favorite. Our waiter did not offer us bread so we thought they didn't serve it. My daughter had stuffed shells and they were delicious but would not be good for a bigger appetite. I wished the restaurant had a little more light but the atmosphere is cozy. You sit right next to your neighbors like In a big city. Overall good but pretty pricey."

  • "While everyone talks about the high profile steakhouses in Las Vegas, Stack is perhaps underrated and is a fantastic meal, ambiance and experience. My wife's fillet was spectacular, and I went all-in for the Tomahawk Rib Eye which did not disappoint!"

  • "Simply put, this is the best restaurant on the Las Vegas Strip. We do to Vegas about 10 times a year and on 8 of those trips, we have to go to Stack. Order from the small plate side of the menu and pick 2.5 to 3 items for each person -- they're all sharable. Great for groups, because you get to order many more items. EVERYTHING is fantastic. That may sound like a cliche, but it really is. Brian Massie, the chef, is a genius. (no, I don't know him) I wish I could list a few recommendations, but literally, everything is great. (again, order the small plates)"

  • "We eat at Stack every trip we make to Vegas. Every time we eat there we always order the surf and turf 40 oz porter house steak and 2 lbs lobster which includes two sides. Each time it has been amazing except this last time the steak had a lot of fat and the lobster was over cooked. We will definitely be going back but was just disappointed this time I'm not one to complain because they have been consistently good. The chicken wings is a must try! Amazing! The waiting staff is excellent as well."

  • "Stack is hands down my favorite place in this entire city! The menu is an assortment of fun "adult style kid food" with steaks, amazing pasta and main courses. The seafood tower is incredibly impressive, but my personal favorites will remain the Hot Rock and the Wings!! Love the Crab Tacos, the Caesar and the Tomahawk chop! They have an amazing Burger on a brioche bun too... I could go on and on. Fun atmosphere, and they offer late night dining in the Mirage. Love this place!!"

  • "This is my second time at Stack. My husband and I ate there two years ago, and then we went a few weeks ago with another couple. By far the best overall dining experience we've had in Vegas. The food is complex and so tasty, the service is top notch and the general ambience is very pleasing. We had several different appetizers and steak. Every last bite of steak was perfect… did not have to leave a little pile of discards. And the warm chocolate cake is in my top five desserts EVER! So good, wonderful texture, but the flavor of the chocolate is what sets it apart from your typical lava cake. Amazing!! Only slight negative is that noise level is high."

  • "We dined at Stack for dinner before a show on the weekend. Given that the Mirage has Tom Colicchio's restaurant, we weren't expecting the steaks here to be just as expensive, if not more. Food was good. Split a porterhouse and 2 sides. No drinks or deserts-bill was almost $100. Service is strange. They work in teams, so you have 2 servers. We were greeted by one server, told the specials, took our drink order and left. 3 minutes later, our other server came up, gave us the WHOLE spiel again, and tried to take our drink order again, even though we heard it already. This happens repeatedly. We were asked about appetizers twice, how our food was twice, do we want desert twice. Food is good. Service is really awkward."

The food was served timely, was delicious, and our waiters were able to handle our large party plus several others at the same time without skipping a beat! I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone who needs to accommodate a large group."

  • "The food was amazing!! The staff was friendly and the drinks (although pricey) were well worth it. The only issue I had was the DJ was playing horrendous music and it was so loud. This place is not a club, so I don't understand why you would ruin a great meal with that screeching coming from the bar. Even though the music was bad, I'll definitely be back. The steak was affordable and delicious!!"
