It didn't seem to matter that you had reservations, they just took people that didn't have reservations and that didn't allow them to take those of us who had reservations at our reservation time. We arrived at the Biltmore around 9:30am, finished touring the house at 11:15am, went next door to the area outside the Stable Cafe and they took us in at 11:25am for our 11:30am reservation. It was perfect timing and the grand daughters were ready to eat since they had breakfast at 7am. Everyone with the restaurant was friendly, and wanted us to have an enjoyable experience. My fussy-eating grand daughters were able to find something on the menu and cleaned their plate.4/5/2013 12:00:00 AMThe Stable is more than likelyThe Stable is more than likely a very busy place. It is close by outside of the Biltmore House. The food was above average for the number of people being served. Our waitress was very attentive. The Sampler Dessert was absolutely worthwhile and the Biltmore Reserve Cabernet wine was excellent. I was very glad that I made a reservation through Open Table. Even though there were lines of people waiting and given a pager, we were seated immediately after we told them our name. You get to eat where the horse stable once was and it is huge!! The meat they use is raised there and the vegetables are all raised there on the Biltmore property.
