Some of the best food I've ever had, I want the recipe for that dipping sauce. The entertainment, though mostly in Russian was very good but the restaurant itself looked like it had not been updated in the last 20 years. The fact that it is on the street mentored parking is a problem, especially for the handicapped as there are no handicapped parking spots anywhere near the restaurant

If you are looking for something different to eat, then St. Petersburg (Russia) restaurant has some interesting and tasty foods, Not spicy at all, but very flavorful. Nice beer list, but not every beer is available. The ambiance just wan't there. It was just a dark room with dark colored walls and cute tables. It could have been just any type of local restaurant in its past. Even a local pub. The lighting was low and we had to lift our menus up above the table to read them. Maybe that's the way of the old eastern block? IDK. I recommend this restaurant only for its interesting foods.

I don't know why after making an early reservation and being one of the first people to arrive for dinner, we were seated in a dark remote corner away from the entertainment. We asked for the manager several times to fix it. No manager ever checked on us. Luckily the waitress moved us, more than half an hour later. Food- good, but portions are very small for the price. Not to mention that the waitness was not eager to explain any of the items on the menu. Wine was good and priced right. Overall- it's worth coming here for the entertainment, if you don't expect much in terms of service or value.

My guess is about 25 tables. Made reservations for Valentines Day for dinner & burlesque show the day before and still availability with few seats left. Ambiance was good. Waitress was great just not available enough. We arrived at 8pm, got drinks & salads ok but not served dinner til close to 10pm! Ordered from special menu surf & turf but lobster in ravioli style! Also didn't realize until after we left that one of us never got our dessert! Sax player was awesome! Burlesque show ok but unfortunately need to upgrade the performer (performance fine but lady needs more figure - sorry but true). Hate to grade by this one visit bc of holiday but still but unfortunately my husband has no desire to return(even tho regular menu looks good).

Good Food, Good service, ambiance lacking a little, entertainment was fun and funny (good saxophone and vocals but in format that is a little unusual). Not the best parking arrangement but find a parking space was not a problem. Plan to go again. Not a typical white table cloth dining venue but certainly enjoyable.

Because I have an Eastern European background,I especially enjoyed the borscht and vareniki. Our server was attentive and hospitable even though she worked many other tables. The burlesque show, though not of Broadway quality, was entertaining with good audience participation. The only criticism I really have is that the place itself looked a bit shabby and in need of a makeover. All in all, I really enjoyed myself because I was dining with a fun person, and the atmosphere was upbeat and lively. Be sure to try the red currant infused vodka!

St Petersburg Nights was excellent and energetic. We got in late for our appointment but found ourselves in for an unexpected treat of a dinner show in a sort of cabaret style. I wish there had been more than two choices of dinner meals to choose from, but my salmon was very tasty. The murder mystery show they put on was very fun and the performers are very talented. The humor was not designed for children, it was a little more adult themed. Overall I had an excellent time. =)

THE GUY WHO PLAYED THE SAX SUNG HER HAPPY BDAY, AND LILY TIGER WAS ENTERTAINING. I SEE YOUR RESTAURANT IS ON GROUPON SO I PLAN ON RETURNING AGAIN. WE ALL ENJOYED EVERYTHING, NOT KNOWING WHAT TO EXPECT. YOU GET 5 STARS FROM THIS PARTY OF 5. WE HAVE SOME VERY PICKY EATERS IN OUR GROUP BUT NOT 1 COMPLAINT. The restaurant looks like it is in a converted night club, but it has a very fun lounge atmosphere.

Great homemade and hand made Russian food. I have been to three major Russian cities and my wife is Russian and the food here lived up to our expectations, however, if you are looking for a in and out type of restaturant you will need to look elsewhere as everything is made from scratch and as such it takes a while to have a complete meal. I for one highly recommend the Pelmeni!

We stopped in for the first time on a Friday for one of their tasting events. When we walked in, the ambiance alone made us gasp. Was "free beer" really worth this? We decided so. When we were seated - literally being THE ONLY people in the restaurant, we were told that there wouldn't be a tasting despite being advertised as they didn't have the business. Needless to say, they lost ours as well.

A real Russian owner, serving traditional Russian dishes. Consistently good quality in all respects. Everything is cooked to order, so do NOT expect Red Lobster speed where the food is pre-fabricated and not as good a value. A full bar is separate from the dining / dance floor area. Amazing salads and desserts, with attentive service. A little bit pricy, but very satisfying and digestible. The State health inspections are always among the very BEST in the area.

My husband and I have been here before, and we staged a small birthday dinner party for a friend who had never tried this type of cuisine. The waiter was friendly and the live music was played at a level that you could talk to your friends across the table without having to shout. We are in the habit of ordering many different appetizers and entrees and sharing as a group, and St. Petersburg Nights is a great place to do just that! Even something as simple as a plate of deviled eggs is fabulous here. The wine selection is impressive, and I'm always happy to see Georgia wine on the table!

Very good food. Odd atmosphere. Looks like a night club walking in but on the other side it is a cute restaurant. The food was prepared to order so it did take a long time for it to come out (not unusually long for cooked to order). The food was very authentic as well and has many ukrainian, polish, and georgian (the country) foods. We were all pleasantly surprised.

The three people putting on a 'show' work hard at it -- but that's about all one can say about it. The novelty of it was fun for a little while -- then became tedious. We arrived at 7PM -- we were served our food at 9PM. The place is understaffed -- the poor waitress was running herself ragged trying to serve almost everyone in the room. The food arrived hot, but tasteless.

The chicken kieve was very good but the show was the real attraction. We were delighted with all the performers in this old-school burlesque presentation. The MC was tantalizingly provocative and the dancers were seductive and beautiful. A great variety of music, comedy and even some magic. The audience was involved in on-stage participation in some of the skits. The saxophone player was incredible we left a $100 tip. The restaurant offers a variety of shows and events throughout the year and we will take advantage of as many of them as we can.

We went to St. Petersburg Nights on a burlesque Thursday. The show was very entertaining and fit for a PG-13 audience. The saxophone player was excellent, the dancers were professional and the interactive entertainment was fun. We had a party of 6. Our server gave us fantastic service. It was so nice to take our time enjoying dinner without feeling rushed like so many restaurants do these days. The food was very authentic as a member of our party who had actually spent time in St. Petersburg, Russia let us know. It was also delicious! We had a relaxing, leisurely evening with great food and friends. I would recommend St. Petersburg Nights to all of my friends who are looking for something unique and fun. We all left with great memories.
