I love the place and had been there prior to the shows airing. The food is great, the flat breads amazing. The meatballs, pig dip, meatloaf, chili verde are great. I love the cauliflower soup, the in house baked baguette, baked goat cheese and most everything I've tried. It can be a bit loud and sometimes hard to carry on a conversation, but the energy in the place is electric. The wait staff attentive and accommodating and the prices very very reasonable. They do have limited parking, but do provide free valet and I've never had a problem. We did make reservation on a Wednesday evening and it was a good idea as it was quite busy. We shared a couple of appetizers, the goat cheese and the meatballs. Both were fantastic! For the entree I chose the Pig Dip and my girlfriend had the Chile Verde. I had an amazing pork loin sandwich (called the Pig Dip) and my wife had a chicken salad sandwich. Both were very good. Their fries I believe were a mix of potato and sweet potato and were delicious as well. I saw quite a few more items on the menu I'd like to try including a few of their flat breads. Ive gone there 2 times so far and I'm never disappointed! Kids eat free which I thought was shocking because its a full sized meal. My brother who tends to be picky about foods and normally eats alot since he's a growing athlete, loved the kids meal and said it was too much for him to finish. The steak meal with veggies and wine sauce is probably the best food I've ever eaten! Its beyond delicious! They also have a starter salad for $3 and it has amazing dressing on it! They also sell $3 loafs of bread to take home. This time I had the Salmon Superfood which was perfectly cooked and seasoned. My favorite dishes are the Green Chile Pork and the Meatballs. We sat outside for the first time. The micromisters were on but they were too strong for an evening in the low 80s. We were cold and did not want to linger around very long. Staff = amazing. Food = unreal! You must try the meatballs, so amazingly good. The French Onion Burger was superb. I think they bake their own bread and pastries. (Try the cinnamon roll. OMG yummy.) We had cocktails immediately, which was great, but then our appetizers appeared when we had still barely sat down and starting sipping. There was no time to relax and digest and I felt that we were being rushed through the meal instead of being allowed to enjoy it at a moderately leisurely pace. There was however more of a gap between entree and dessert, thank goodness. This friend is a foodie so I knew we were in good hands! The friends we dined with had some dietary restrictions with gluten and dairy and the menu was perfect for them. My husband and I shared the salmon superfood and pork chop special. I cannot wait to go back and have the salmon all to myself! Everyone on the staff seemed very knowledgeable and most of all, enthusiastic about the food they were preparing and serving. The quality of the food and the great serving staff make this venue a must visit location in central Phoenix. We always like to arrive well before our reservation to spend time sitting outside at the bar enjoying a glass of wine, or one of their great deals on cocktails. Dinner is never rushed and the staff is full of great suggestions. I especially like the menu as it has something for everyone without being so large as to make it hard to choose. The crowd is very eclectic, hipsters, families, business, tourists, young and old.
