Our second visit. Beautiful view with excellent food and presentation. Great wine however very short with the pours and server seemed reluctant to do additional pours. That was a negative. Will go again.

We attended a 90 minute food and wine pairing, The set-up and ambiance was inviting and professionally done. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable . Their presentation style engaged attendee participation which added to an enjoyable experience. Their were 16 attendees. The food pairings were fantastic; from presentation to creativity and originality. The flavors in each dish were over the top as compared to the many 5 star restaurant's wine and food pairing dishes that we have had at 4 times the cost. One of my favorite food items was the thinly sliced yellow squash. I believe it was prepared with curry and/or cardamon or cinnamon. We weren't able to determine exactly what spices were used because all the spices blended together so nicely. All the dishes were a symphony of flavors. And the wines were delicious and paired perfectly. (That was not our experience at many wineries we had visited over the weekend). We also enjoyed the polenta with goat cheese and the Japanese eggplant. At this point we are sounding like we are vegetarians, but we really love our meats as well. The pork belly and lamb dishes were also excellent. And everyone raved about the seared Seebass. The finale was a thin wedge of delectable french blue cheese and chocolate flourless souffle cake that was surrounded by swirls of dark chocolate and what I think was Dulce De Leche. These flavors paired beautifully with their 2012 Port. The quality of the food and wine pairing for $50 per person is a great value. If you join their wine club you get a 20% discount off your food and wine pairing and given a free wine and food pairing for 2 for a visit in the future. . There is no initial fee to join and no pressure to do so, just some great incentives. .All wine purchases that day were offered at a 30% discount. The commitment to the wine club is to purchase one case of wine during the next year. They give you lots of options in choosing the varietals and timing of your deliveries.

My wife and I did the wine and food pairing...one of the best experiences we had on our trip to San Francisco/Sonoma. The food and wine were a perfect compliment to each other and the views of the vineyards and mountains made it even more perfect. This is a must-do if you are visiting Sonoma!

St Francis chef Bryon Jones is a master of pairing interesting, delicious, & unique foods with the wonderful wines of St Francis. The presentation is classic. The timing impeccable. The staff trained perfectly. The setting is elegant. This is the best food and wine pairing in the Sonoma wine valley. We will return as the chef provides seasonal delights in his changing menu.

My husband is a teaching chef and we have personally conducted Food & Wine Pairings for years. St. Francis does one of the BEST in Sonoma Valley. Since we eat with our eyes first, it is important that the food is perfectly prepared and visually attractive. The wines are well matched and the service is friendly and polite. The host knows what she is talking about and the chef comes out at the end to answer questions. It is a delightful experience that we try to take in a few times each year. We HIGHLY recommend this culinary experience.

First time visit to Napa and so glad we planned a tasting here. Every course was amazing and paired perfectly with the wine selections. Started with a delicata squash dish paired with a Gewürztraminer, then a scallop dish paired with a cuvée blanc, followed by a duck breast cassoulet paired with a Zinfandel, then a lamb duo paired with a red Sonoma cuvee, and finally a cheese and chocolate dessert with a port. Truly amazing and highly recommended.

We highly recommend the food and wine pairing. Honestly, some of the best food we've ever eaten. The flavor combinations were exquisite and paired perfectly with the wines (of which we purchased three bottles). The outdoor scenery was beautiful, both the St Francis property and the background. Do yourself a favor and book a lunch there.

The St Francis food and wine pairing is a must for Sonoma visitors. This is my third time back to the vineyard and second pairing experience. Every visit has been exceptional. The wine is amazing and positively the best value for quality. The staff are welcoming and the setting is beautiful. The new Chef is a great match. We celebrated my father's 70th birthday and the St Francis experience was the high point of his 5 day trip to Napa and Sonoma. Amazing!

St. Francis is a gem just a short drive outside Santa Rosa. Spectacular scenery paired with great food and wonderful wines. We had visited 2 other vineyards on our trip - each very different from the others. By far, St. Francis was the most sophisticated. Their beautiful shop/tasting room was charming to spend a little time before or after our lunch. When we looked at the menu before hand we thought we would select one entrée. We were pleasantly surprised that we had samplings of all three with each paired to a wine and one even had two wines as the staff could not decide between the two. Each entree was well presented and delicious. It seemed a little pricey at first but was definitely worth it!

The wine and good tasting was the highlight of our trip to the wine country. We bought one of the red wines to ship home but kicked ourselves the rest of the day for not buying one of the two Chardonnays that were presented--one with salmon and one with salad.
