The burger just might be the beat in Seattle. Seriously. The menu required some explanation but our server was so knowledgeable and helpful that it became a fun adventure rather than intimidating or confusing. We were extremely impressed with the extent of her knowledge; from wine to food there wasn't a question she couldn't answer, and she did it all in a friendly and enthusiastic, yet unobtrusive way. On her advice We shared a few "starters" (roughly the top half of the left column of the menu, and then a couple of entrees. We got to experience variety without overdoing it (which we certainly would have had we gone it alone). We ordered a variety of dishes between the four of us and the black cod was the only one we probably wouldn't order again. Salmon crostini, gnudi and guinea fowl was off the chart good! I promise you will not be disappointed in the food. Just know you might not be "full" by the end of the meal but that is not the reason you go to Spur. I you feel you need more quantity while dining order their shoe string French fries, that should do the trick.3/23/2013 12:00:00 AMSPUR - Delicious!This was one of the best meals I have eaten in all of Seattle. We ordered the smaller of the two tasting menus - and after our first course we were so glad we did, since we knew we were going to have 4 more delicious courses coming.
