The food was very good, some foodie good, though I wasn't blown away by new flavours, mostly stable and safe. Very good portions and good prices for good food. Sitting in the upstairs loft overlooking the street life was fun, especially as we were still mostly during daylight. For chocoholics, a serious gap in chocolate desserts (the "bouchon brownie" is really just that, a brownie).5/4/2013 12:00:00 AMAn underrated restaurantBecause of its location (above a more high profile restaurant), I feel that Spuntini has been unfairly underrated. For the service, the food and an excellent wine selection that go with very reasonable prices, I think it is one of the best restaurants in Toronto.
