  • "Hostess was friendly, our server Brian was very good and had a personality. I mention because I’m tired of the increasing plastic people of the Atlanta mini chains – not all – and while the local celebrity chef places don’t suffer that, I generally find the staff good, you get more cutting edge cuisines, but that ranges from wow to really? What I really want is 3 or fewer tasty courses at a reasonable price. Sprig delivers in a relaxed atmosphere. I’ve also recently had to go GF…..Sprig is on top of that too. If I have to explain what gluten is I won’t be back! My wife had the lamb stroganoff (not GF, I just tried a bit of lamb), one of the best I’ve tasted."

  • "This was my second visit to Sprig. First time I loved it, food was good as well as the service. Second time the service was again very friendly and prompt. I had the all vegetable dish, they were overcooked and tasteless. Friends had the trout which was good. We all had the muscles, excellent. This is a good neighborhood restaurant, Food is good and well presented, just watch out for the veggies.."

She got the veggie plate and made "all gone" and was treated to a free, delicious flourless chocolate cake (which was too much for even both of us to finish"). My steak salad was delicious also. Our waiter was very attentive and pleasant. It was especially nice being able to eat outside."

  • "Upon a visit back to my old neighborhood, we decided to try Sprig for lunch. The shopping center where Sprig resides was a new retail center in the 1960's about a mile and a half from my childhood home. My Dad would take us there as kids to Mr. Humphrey's Hardware Store to get paint and supplies. While Mr. Humphrey was carefully mixing just the right color of light olive paint for our dining room, my brother and I would play with the toys in their little toy box or contentedly count nails in the bins to pass the time. The ambiance at Sprig was laid back and comfortable. The sandwiches were delicious and the chickpea and sprout soup was to die for. We enjoyed the outdoor patio on a cool sunny early afternoon. It was worth the visit."

  • "We had out of town guests who wanted to return to Spring so we went Monday. It must have been an off day in the kitchen or the main chef was off. It too forever to get served our food (usually pretty quick) and of the six of us two were not that good. My wife got the Portobello Mushroom dish which she had before, but this time it was drenched in the balsamic glaze which overwhelmed everything else. I got the Veggie Foccacia which was not hot when served. It may be a while before we go back."

We went last Friday evening with friends from out of town, sat in an L-shape booth, but it was very challenging to have a conversation......we really wish they would add some sound absorbing ingredients to their charming space."

  • "We're big fans of Sprig. Unfortunately, we were disappointed with the Valentine's Day service. (1) When we booked the reservation there was no message that it would be a limited prix fixe menu. (2) When Sprig called to confirm the reservation by phone, they also did not mention it would be a prix fixe menu. (3) When we arrived to the restaurant, the host advised us of the limited menu, and she told us we could look at the menu & stay or go. At 7:00 on Valentine's Day evening, there aren't a lot of options, so we stayed. (4) The menu had no prices on it. We stayed, ordered, and thought the food was mediocre compared to the usual menu. (5) The bill was huge for such a lame dinner. The party next to us shared the same sentiment."

  • "Had early seating 6pm. Waiter energetic - introduction to menu went fast - we slowed things down a bit with drinks before apps. Food - shared the oysters appetizer and the shrimp/grits. Should have used single selects for size - oysters we received were the size of quarters after being cooked down. Entrees - Wife had the steak/scallops - I had the stuffed chicken entree - both very good. Desserts - truffle & cheesecake with coffee and after dinner cordials - all good. Overall - good restaurant; good service thru-out meal. Restaurant started filling up as we were leaving. Only negative - any beverage orders from the bar seemed to take awhile to get to the table. Would recommend to others."

  • "Had dinner here Saturday night- the food was very good- the service seemed a bit overwhelmed by the number of diners- due to its construction, noise bounces off of the walls rather than being absorbed- there were four of us at a square table, and we all had difficulty hearing each other- have eaten on the patio in the past, and the noise here is much more tolerable, but that is not a realistic option when the night temperature is in the 20s"

  • "This was the first time we visited Sprig based on a recommendation from a friend. We were very pleased with the atmosphere and menu selection (including the specials). Everything we ordered was fresh and very well prepared! I had one of the specials that evening. A basa fish presented differently than I have ever seen and it was delicious with the risotto and sauce. No room for dessert! Although the wine list was excellent, we went with the wine parings and recommendations from the bartender. Great choices, so no need to be knowledgable about wine. You will be taken care of. Loved the neighborhood feel of the restaurant and wished it was within walking distance of our house! We will return!!"

  • "Tucked away in a small strip mall, surprisingly energetic inside. Our service was good. I had the special for the night, basa (a fish I had not heard of previously), and my wife the quinoa salad topped with salmon. We split the fried green tomatoes appetizer. For me, the tomatoes were smothered with more corn and bacon grits than needed, but still good. We were both pleased. Several items on the menu were tempting enough to insure we'll be back."

  • "I took my staff to Sprig recently for our holiday lunch. All of the food was fresh, delicious. Staff was efficient, not overly friendly. A few in our party had special requests and they were accommodated without question which was nice as that kind of stuff can easily be annoying. I would definitely recommend for a nice lunch with friends or co-workers when you want a better experience and food than your usual quick take-out or sit down kind of place."

  • "We took a group of 11. The staff and menu was able to accommodate the needs of three generations of our family. Ages ranged from 6-66. The food was excellent. there were choices to placate the foodies and the kids. This is not something that is easily done. The salmon special and bread pudding seemed to be the bright spots. There is a large booth/table that in the back that provided us with privacy and a little room for our kids not to annoy the date night crowd. The waiter was probably the best waiter I have ever had. I wish I could recall his name to provide a personal shout out. He called in for some help on the wine selection that proved to be a winner as we I plan to return with my smoking hot wife"

  • "This was my second visit to Sprig. While it wasn't quite as good as the first trip, it was still very enjoyable and I left feeling satisfied. My main course, the Sprig plate with Brussels, Rice Pilaf, Greens and a salad, was decent. The Brussels were a big soft for my taste, but the rice, greens and salad were great. I also got the triple scoop of ice cream; the chocolate habanero was amazing! The service was good as always - server was friendly and responsive."
