"This was such a nice surprise! It is located in a strip shopping center so I didn't expect much for ambiance but we were able to sit on the patio and it was a delightful experience. The food was delicious from beginning to end! My husband and I both had fish entrees and they were prepared wonderfully...not overcooked and not undercooked. Just perfect! We will go back!"

"Server was pleasant but didn't seem to know the menu all that well. After ordering, I heard better descriptions and recommendations another server was giving a table next to me. Food was okay- too much butter on the pan sauteed oysters made them soggy. Chicken was bland though server had described it as flavorful....and risotto that came with it tasted like butter that been overheated/browned. I will give Sprig another try though because other menu items sound tempting."

"We went on Easter Sunday so it was crowded, but even so the service could've been a lot better. It took an hour for the food to arrive after ordering, and it probably would've tasted good if it hadn't been cold and dried out from sitting for so long. My opinion is, they take themselves a little too seriously. Lighten up and stick to the basics. I don't know if we will go back again."

"We went to Sprig for Easter brunch. Food took half an hour to arrive. They had a specific Easter menu so we couldn't order appetizers while we waited. We were a large group so they put us in the patio area; a couple of us did not get shade from the bright sun for the 2 hour or so duration we were there. Our server was not as attentive as we would have liked him to be. We most likely won't go back for a holiday meal, but would consider other non-holidays."

"I had brunch there on Easter Sunday. They had a special, limited menu that had some nice choices. The food was good -- as good as any other brunches in town. One of my companions wasn't impressed with his food though. He got corned beef hash that had very little corned beef in it. But the biscuits are delicious and the homemade jam is outstanding! The service was uneven. We sat outside, and we were our server's only outside table, so he tended to forget about us. Plus they were very busy given that it was Easter. I will try Sprig again, but if the service isn't substantially better, I won't return. Other brunch places like West Egg or J. Christopher's have excellent service."

"It's great to have a "nice night out" type of restaurant right in our wonderful Oak Grove neighborhood! We had a meal worthy of a celebration (actually we were celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary), and also had the ease of almost no travel and traffic, paired with the coziness of being in a friendly environment where we saw friends we know and made new friends. The food was very tasty and the wine was good and very affordable (only drawback there is we found ourselves drinking too much wine!)."

"Its a great place to go and have a great meal and a great time. The food is great, the staff is even better. Items that can be ordered gluten free are clearly marked on the menu. Don't pass up the gluten free flourless chocolate cake. It's actually cake (with lava), not a mousse misnamed cake. I really appreciate that."
