"What a surprise, FINALY a Resturant that chops its own lettuce fresh instead of the common prepackaged bag salad. I would drive by this place all day to get to Ann Arbor but this was as good as just about any in AA but more reasonably priced. Thanks for being on open table or we would have never found you."

"This was my second time visiting Spirits. The first time, I wasn't so impressed but they had only been open a week. This time, what can I say? A big difference. I loved the menu change up, we had a great waiter. The hostess was wonderful and the owner was constantly making the rounds. We stayed for the "night life" and the patrons got younger by the minute and so did the music. So this is defiantly not the place to be if you are 40-50 which is very sad because we so very much need a place like that in the Belleville/Ypsi/Ann Arbor area. I am sure as Spirits gets settled they will fit in nicely and I will definitely be back to watch them grow."

"I was very disappointed with the food that night because I have eaten their before. They ran out of food from their selective menu. I feel that they were overwhelm from numerous participants supportive their first new year eve event. The bake potatoes were over cooked and tasted like it was cooked the day before and reheated in oven or microwave. The crab cakes were not good at all ( too fishy). Our server was not good at all but we had some friends there that their server was great. I also waited for drinks over 30 minutes. We enjoyed our self and hopefully the next big event that they will be more prepared and take pride in cooking their dishes."
