Spill the WineWe had a nice time for Mother's DayOur group of 9 had a lovely time for Mother's day brunch. A few of us were running late and they had no problems taking care of us. Our server was knowledgeable, friendly and available. The food was all very good.5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat dining experienceMy sister and I brought our Mom to Spill the Wine for Mother's Day brunch. Their unique collection of small and large plate items were perfect for our differing tastes. I really liked their former location on Washington Avenue, but their new location in the Lynn-Lake area is more spacious and vibrant. Keep up the good work!5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMMother's Day DinnerCame here for Mother's Day with my family after hearing the name a couple times while at the U. A very nice, open space that is modern with barn wood along the walls. Great lights. Meals are meant to be shared, so my family of four ordered two small plates and a large (we weren't overly hungry), but that was turned out to be just the right amount of food. The crab BLT was the most memorable. The waiter made a good pitch for their popular cauliflower dish, which was fine, but I think I wanted to please my mom that I'm still eating my vegetables more than anything.
There was a child's birthday dinner being celebrated when we were there which accounts for the "moderate" noise level. But my guess is that it is normally a relaxed quiet.5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMHit or MissAmbience is open and airy. The crab BLT sandwich is worth going back for, but the cobb salad had too many "large chunks" of blue cheese and other additives and the egg was under cooked and gooey. The lamb/pasta dish I had was flavorful and great. The BBQ pork sandwich looked good from afar at the table next to us. Maybe try that next time. The tres leche cake was wonderful, however this was after being told our first choice (flourless chocolate cake) was "out".5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMOld restaurant new locationOld Washington Ave. customer had lunch at new location. You guys did a great job at new location same great service and super food with a lot better facilities!

Scallops and polenta our favorites.4/24/2013 12:00:00 AMWe were a large group andWe were a large group and they seated us near another large group. Not a good idea, we could not hear. Service was not as good as normal, less attentive. Food was great as always.
We love Spill the Wine for dinner but for Brunch, it still has some to go.4/21/2013 12:00:00 AMWe had seven small platesWe had seven small plates and all were outstanding. The lamb sausage as well as the brussels spouts were killer.4/20/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat addition to Lyn-Lake 'hood! The Uptown location is a vast upgrade to the Washington Avenue version I visited several years ago. The food was very good and I found the wines enjoyable and well curated. The tapas-inspired menu is a welcome addition to the Lyn-Lake / Uptown scene. Don't miss the Sopes (we ordered them twice).4/13/2013 12:00:00 AMMy new favorite!I'm so in love with 'Spill the Wine'. The food is delish and I love the portion-sizes. The prices are reasonable. Their beer selection is great - they have two of my favorites: Mirror Pond and Sweet Child of Vine. A very enthusiastic two thumbs up!4/11/2013 12:00:00 AMLove the new location.
